rosch Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 nice build! are these regular computer keyboard buttons you modified with leds? Quote
mfk Posted July 12, 2011 Author Report Posted July 12, 2011 nice build! are these regular computer keyboard buttons you modified with leds? Thanks. They are normal buttons. A friend of me "found" them. In fact they belong to the german neavy. I am looking for more of them, but there is no shop which sells these switches. So I have only these. I need still some for my blm16x16+X-project... Quote
Hawkeye Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 Very nice! The encoders also look like they were made to withstand a direct cannon hit from a naval vessel :-) Bye, Peter Quote

rosch Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 looks even better! @Hawkeye, the encoders are the ones from Pollin, they're really stable, even after removing the click. only drawback here's that you need to drill 14mm holes if i remember right, as the shaft isn't removable. nice work, mfk.
