internet Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) I bought a newhaven oled to put in the sammichSID, but it does not appear to be compatible. Should have checked here first. The sammichSID works fine otherwise, except for the screen. Is this LCD compatible with the sammichSID? http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/MOP-AL202C-BYFY-25E-3IN/MOP-AL202C-BYFY-25E-3IN-ND/1978346 datasheet: http://www.matrixorbital.ca/manuals/MOP_Series/MOP-AL/MOP-AL202C%20%28Rev1.0%29.pdf Also can someone help me find a replacement part for the dual inline header with the long tail on digikey? Thank you. Edited August 27, 2013 by internet
nILS Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 The OLEDs typically just need a different initialization - pretty sure this topic has come up here before - the forum search might yield some results. The digikey link doesn't work for me, it's probably only valid with your session.I had a quick look at the datasheet and it looks good.
internet Posted August 27, 2013 Author Report Posted August 27, 2013 Thanks nILS. I'll look around on the forum. This is the OLED I got: http://www.newhavendisplay.com/nhd0220dzway5-p-4216.html datasheet: http://www.newhavendisplay.com/redirect.html?goto=www.newhavendisplay.com%2Fspecs%2FNHD-0220DZW-AY5.pdf&action=url
Altitude Posted August 27, 2013 Report Posted August 27, 2013 I could never get the newhaven OLED working correctly with my MB6582 due to the 4 bit communications, could be the same problem with the sammich. The Samtec headers at digikey come in any size you can imagine. http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?WT.z_header=search_go&lang=en&site=us&keywords=sam1066-03-nd&x=-1021&y=-51
