Zam
HiMy question is very simple, I read about MBHP_ETH but It's not clear to me if I can connect both SDcard and ETH at J16 ?!?I'm using STM32F4 core, and I want to try OSC for my system.I'm planing to do it in protoboard, but maybe there is some interest if I take the PCB (with kicad) route ?For info the controller seems available again in DIL package at reichelt.BestZam
latigid on
For the older 32 bit Cores, yes you can chain an ETH and SD off the same cable because they are pinned to accept different RC lines if I recall properly. For the F4 Core, you have SD on board, so why the need for another?
Zam
HiWithout proper socket my SD card is connected at J16 with ribbon and direct solder to SDhoder for miniSD card, but that' not the point :)Anyway I just find the info at J16 description for STM32 (miss that...)Note: the MBHP_CORE_STM32F4 module has an on-board SD Card Socket, which is directly connected to J16!so I check again SD card page and ETH page.SD use RC1 and ETH use RC2Now whole J16 connection make sense to me :)BestZam
