mars
Hello, i've got a small (i hope so) problem with parts i want to order at Reichelt.de. The 74HCT 541 by Texas Instruments is not available any more, nor at reichelt or at mouser. For building a STM32F4, can one use 74HC 541 instead ? Thanks in advance, Martin
FantomXR
Depending on what you want to do you can leave it away completely. What housing do you need? DIP or SMD?
FantomXR
Why dont you take those?? https://www.mouser.de/Semiconductors/Logic-ICs/_/N-4s5z6?P=1z0z63x&Keyword=hct541&Ns=Pricing%7c0&FS=True

latigid on
You cannot substitute for HC logic in this case. HCT is required to level-shift the logic to +5V, whereas a 3v3 3V signal pushes the threshold limits of a HC chip powered at +5V. 595-SN74HCT541N should be suitable.
