(tactile switches are the ones fixed directly to the PCB, the low profile ones). s4ndp4pper Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 I your'e lucky you might run into some rubber buttons from some kind of electronics (like the ones on cellular phones). Then you might be able to take just the rubber pice, maybe remove any text on it with alcohol or something and then put it on top of the tact switches. I'm not saying that cellphone buttons are good on midiboxes, but i've seen other applications use these type of buttons too.I'll get back if i find a better example. You'll have to order the 'extended' ones tough, with a shaft of at least 5mm, as these fit over the shafts. I'm getting those for my box definitely.
