renepela Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Hi,I currently have a nice step B midibox sid, but I'd like to go a step further and built step c.I already ordered the frontpanel, the leds and the encoders, but I still have to order the buttons somewhere.I ordered the "standard" frontpanel on the ucapps site and I want to buy the correct buttons that fit into this frontpanel. Can anyone tell me what buttons I need and where I can get them? Thanks in advance,Rene
moebius Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Those are pretty common "tactile" switches with long "shafts", should be pretty easy to find. Have a look: http://www.midibox.org/midibox_sid_photos/Bye, Moebius
pay_c Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 Those used by TK are found @ Reichelt: www.reichelt.de Ordernr: e.g. "Taster 3301D" for 0,10 Cents a piece. But they can be found nearly anywhere, since those are nearly standard-buttons, like already stated. Here is the datasheet for them: http://www.reichelt.de/inhalt.html?SID=18Irg%2540WKwQARMAAEK12Ige7c286d03cd8dad506fc7653ee2dfa80;ACTION=7;LASTACTION=6;SORT=artikel.artnr;GRUPPE=C223;WG=0;SUCHE=Taster%25203301B;ARTIKEL=TASTER%2525203301B;START=0;END=16;STATIC=0;FC=670;PROVID=0;TITEL=0;DATASHEETSEARCH=TASTER%25203301B;FOLDER=C200;FILE=TASTER33%2523APM.pdf;DOWNLOADTYP=1;DATASHEETAUTO=;OPEN=0
renepela Posted September 21, 2005 Author Report Posted September 21, 2005 I checked Reichelt today and tried to order those buttons. The problem is I'm in the Netherlands and Reichelt only sends to foreign countries if I spend at least 150 euros and I only want to spend about 5 euros.Another problem is the site is in German. I understand German very well, but not enough to understand all the money transfer stuff.I also checked farnell and found switch buttons that are almost the same, only shorter and more expensive. Can someone please point me to site that sells the buttons and sends to the Netherlands. Paying buy credit card would be the easiest way for me.Maybe someone here has about 50 buttons left and wants to sell them? Thanks in advance,Rene
renepela Posted September 22, 2005 Author Report Posted September 22, 2005 Voti does not sell those switch buttons unfortunately. I orderded my knobs there, but they don't sell the switch buttons.Sorry, but I still can't find a shop other then Reichelt that does sell those switch buttons.Rene
raphael Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 Voti does not sell those switch buttons unfortunately. I orderded my knobs there, but they don't sell the switch buttons. ??? ??? ???Why has Voti them in his catalog then?Have you ever looked for MW-SW-5 (the lower ones) and MW-SW-7 (higher ones)?http://www.voti.nl/shop/p/M-SW-7-1.htmlhttp://www.voti.nl/shop/p/M-SW-5-1.htmlIf you look at Torstens SID pictures, he usese the higher ones.Raphael
Davo Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 Would someone please measure how high those things are so I can make sure I get the correct ones?
renepela Posted September 22, 2005 Author Report Posted September 22, 2005 I guess I missed something on the Voti site, because they do sell those switch buttons. Thanks Raphael and Moebius !!And sorry for not using my eyes in the proper way ::)Rene
moebius Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 ;DWould someone please measure how high those things are so I can make sure I get the correct ones?Check the documentation jpg on the voti's site. Dimensions are there.M
pay_c Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 ;D Well... *I* do sell some, too! ;)http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=5328.0Just look up there, I´m selling 30 used (but rechecked) buttons like those TK used. If you also need other stuff (which you see there - should all be relatively self-explaining - if you don´t understand something just ask me) just contact me. BUT: The posting fees from Germany to the Netherlands are 17,50 Euros, so if you *only* want the buttons, stick to Voti.*Just* wanted to mention ;D ;D ;D
