sine Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 greetings this is mostly a question to smash tv , but since it could be answered by the form im asking here. with the new AIN R3 and DIN R3 modules ive received im confused about the caps that have been sent .on these pages it shows yellow caps http://www.avishowtech.com/mbhp/mbhp_ainR3.html http://www.avishowtech.com/mbhp/mbhp_dinR3.htmldetails here .| Loc. | Description | Qty | Mouser Part # |___________________________________________________________| C1-4 | Ceramic Cap 100nF=.1uF "104" | 4 | 80-C412C104K5R |but what i have received is brownish yellow caps of a different shape with KL 1 0536 K5 U 104Mprinted around it . im sure this is no mistake .but id just like to be clear that these components ive been sent are suitable replacements for the ones mentioned on the web page , and that this is not a simple mistake made when packing up modules .cheers for any responses about this Quote

dj_statikfire Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Hey,I work with caps (thru-hole, surface mount). Different manufacturers print up caps in various colors. Don't ID a cap by its paint job. Read the markings. This is true for ceramic, tantalum, mica, etc. THX,JD Quote

(any suggestions?) :)BestSmash Quote
