zeh
Hi Forum,i have a question regarding the AIN module. is it possible to use 47K resistors instead of 10K ones? if yes, whats the difference in handling? i have to use them, because they are really great and i have a lot of them :(thanks for help-zeh
pay_c
You can *try* it...the only difference is that the current running through them is lower and thus the electrical robustness against electrical fields is not to high (the pots start to react as antennas). Some people here even used 100k´s and they worked. *Perhaps* you have to do some more shielding (use a metal case if possible instead of wood or plastic and tie it to ground) but it should work anyhow. The overall usage is not changed in any manner. DavidBanner
make sure the faders are linear - ones from an old mixer will be log
