m00dawg Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 So I know you can buy panels from a Germany-based company according to ucapps.de, but is there a US distributor that can be used and does anyone know the costs involved? I'd like to start housing my stuff in a box, even if not completed, at least it gives me something to work towards. I haven't found to much and was curious if anyone had any suggestions? Quote
dj3nk Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 Search for a company with a water jet. right word? it cuts nearly all kind of material with water. Just like orange county chopper do ;) Quote
m00dawg Posted April 6, 2007 Author Report Posted April 6, 2007 Haha! Oh yeah...those are sweet! The one on OCC cut through a like 4 inch chunk of aluminum. It was unreal. Quote
dj3nk Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 I worked with such a machine. its really awesome. cutting 4 inches of steel wouldnt be a prob :D Quote
m00dawg Posted April 6, 2007 Author Report Posted April 6, 2007 Front Panel Express :)Oh...how convenient. My apologies for not thinking of that in the first place :) Quote
lylehaze Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 Now that just figures..I went through some VERY ugly home-hacking drill-press-abusing bloody-knuckle antics trying to get the MBMixer case to look kinda nice enough to show. Now somebody suggests waterjet. Why didn't I think if that? I have two of them at work, and I'm the programmer! To be fair, these are the pure-water type, the ones that are used for metal usually have an abrasive in the water. But if I went slow enough, it would probably work.Maybe I'll take a scrap of Aluminum to work and try it.LyleHaze Quote
