Test fit (with flash)

Notice how different the pcb colour is when I use the flash? The actual colour is tamer than this, but more purple than the others. I hope to have something running later this week ... the parts are just sitting loose in the board for now

Interesting ... until now I hadn't seen that. Inspired actually by the Buchla, Klee and MFOS analog designs I've seen. This is actually a very compact package though. The encoder in the centre controls instrument select, but I hope to make it also do "rotate" using a modifier key

hehehe sure, if anybody wants it. it's just a midibox 808 with a funny layout :) i had 3 made, but i have plans for all 3 of them: 2 Hammond enclosures, 1 Eurorack.

Just finished doing my electrical tests, and i think the DIN/DOUT chains will work fine. I wish I had taken some extra time to put the banksticks, plus the extra 1 DIN and 2 DOUT SR's on this board. So the final project will consist of a Core, this "panel" board, and what I'm calling an "aux" board with the extra SR's and BankSticks.

Looks great and I sure want one, but at the moment I don't got the money and just finished my own 808 seq. If you'll make more of these PCB's please let me know. Wonderfull knobs also!

Cheers,

Roel
