ist es dann nicht auch möglich den seq v4l als hardware zu nutzen und nur die firmware zu editieren. denke das die hardware doch ausreicht dazu ! würde dann meinen 2. v4l wahlweise als editor für den maq oder als v4l nutzen ! geht das ? problem ist dann nur , kann nicht programmieren. ob sich hier jemand finden würde der sowas programmiert gegen donation/spende für forum etc ? sollte ich mal Thorsten fragen ob der sowas machen würde ?

kann mir jemand sagen welche midibox komponenten ich benötige ? bin total verwiert und überfragt !

ja danke, denke wir haben unsere antworten überschnitten, oben siehst du noch mal meine genauen bedürfnisse. ich muss halt nur schauen wie ich das von der software seite her löse. denke das die hardware hierfür schon exestiert . ist halt noch neu land. bin ja auch für solche einwürfe sehr dankbar. im vordergrund steht halt für mich das konzept vom doepfer , da ich halt aus der modular ecke komme :-)

eine weitere idee währe...es im seq v4l einen separaten controller mode zu hinterlegen wo mann zb die 16 eingabe buttons als midi cc sender nimmt. ich lese mich aber grade in das midibox 64 thema ein . von der hardware sollte das genau das sein was ich benötige. ich fasse mal zusammen was ich genau benötige : -16 tasten für jeden einzelnen step , ohne LED, für die auswahl der unten stehenden Funktion. - Taste für die auswahl der Reihe 1 bis 3 - Taste Step Startpunkt 1-16 - Taste Step Endpunkt 1-16 - Taste Mute des steps 1-16 - Taste all Steps on - Taste für laufrichtung ca 4-5 laufrichtung / vorwährts / rückwerts / Pendelum/ random etc... - Midi merge funktion eingehendes midi mit diesen daten, evtl zu sync zwecken. Midi Learn und display nur optional. das währe eine sinnvolle erweiterung. zb in einem 1 HE Case

sinnhaftigkeit... kann ich erklären. die funktionen mute, steplänge können natürlich duch die menüs deaktiviert werden. aber durch eine erweiteung in pultform oder in Rackform kann dieses beim live spielen wesentlich erleichtern. da mann für jeden step einen eigen schalter hat und schnell mutes durchführen kann. Klar gibt es andere sequenzer die das können aber nicht 3 mal 16 steps haben oder ein anderes konzept vertreten. mir ist halt beim vorab lesen der BDA diese zusätzlichen funktionen via Midi ins auge gefallen. daher meine idee. sinnlos sehe ich das nicht , da es ja eine erweiterung des interfaces darstellt. idee ist halt ein controller / Midi zu haben / Bauen der ganz lapidar 3 mal 16 tasten hat, die ich mit midi cc´s belegen kann. dieses kann dann auch für andere anwendungen genutz werden. aber bei mir steht der maq im vordergrund. Halt für live anwendungen. und jeder maq nutzer kann das bestätigen, das diese den sequenzer noch leichter zu spielen macht. klar kann mann auch den ultimativen sequenzer mit allen funktionen kaufen, dann befindet mann sich aber in einem anderen segment und greift tiefer in die tasche. ok danke aber für den einwand und vor allem für die erste richtung ich schaue mir mal das mb64 an. leider habe ich erst nur sehr wenig wissen über alle midibox produkte. hier mal ein youtube video welches ich grade zu diesem thema gefunden habe , das zeigt in etwa was ich meine

Hallo, mir schwiert eine idee im Kopf herum, diese ist irgendwie vom Seq V4L inspieriert. ich bekomme in den nächsten tagen einen Doepfer MAQ16/3 Stepsequenzer. Dieser lässt sich auch über div Midi CC befehle dazu bewegen die Steplängen und Mutes etc über Midi zu steuern. Da kommt mir die Idee einen zusätzlichen Kontroller zu bauen, der diese Funktionalität per Drucktaster wie beim V4L zur verfügung stellt. Mann breuchte also auch eine art interface oder Firmware die mann dann über Mios Studio anpassen bzw editieren kann. Gibt es hier schon komponenten mit denen mann das realisieren kann? Bin leider noch zu frisch im Thema Midibox - Universum. Binn daher über jeden tip dankbar. ich denke das so eine box / Controller auch für andere Doepfer user sehr toll währe . danke für Eure Tipps.

it seems that the new firmware makes some midi stucks . The sequencer stucks when i change a parameter of my dx7. maby i change a tune of aoperator the sequencer stucks a tick /sample or two . seems that the sequence gets to mutch information in that second. i think there must be a sysex or cc filter when it is not in recording mode. any how hope you have an idea. i have too look if this also happen in the old firmware. by the way happy new year and thanks for your work. :sorcerer:

Hallo, ich habe auch eine apc 20 und 40 . leider muss mann um diese zu nutzen im ersten step ableton live nutzen. bzw braucht mann zwingend einen angeschloßenen PC/Mac, dann benötigst du ein tool das die sysex daten der APC in deine Benötigten Midi Daten konvertiert/ Portiert. Dieses machen viele user im Netz zb mit eigen entwickelter software wie Bomes etc. leider kenne ich mich mit der prommmierung solch einens tools zu wenig aus. aber evtl hilft dir das ja jetzt schon weiter. Auf der Akai seite findest Du eine Midi CC und Sysex liste mit allen Daten die das APC versendet und empfängt. sorry mehr kann ich auch nicht sagen. LG, CIT ach ja und Dir auch ein schönes fest, oder das was noch davon über ist.

Hi Thorsten, thanks, i ve fixed that sd card problem, i ve soldered it wrong. Puh thats nice to hear that it is not my fould with the midi in( Slave). the second output doesend send a clock ot at my one, sorry for this ... in does allso not work.. but i can live with it for the moment. i ve runed the sequencer as a master in to my ableton live and it works fine, but in some kinds it confuses the sync in live but this should be a other problem. i had now a lot of fun an it brings me exsactly to the typical detroit sound i ve never could do in a nice way. thanks a lot. this is the best christmas present ever. have a nice christmas and many thanks. last question. is it posible to have on the second in a sync signal (in slave mode) and use in and out 1 to do the sequencing stuff?

Hi Thorsten, there was a jumper missed. It was the jumper for the 3volt. after i pulled it in the sequencer worked. now i have still to chek the sd card. Verry nice sequencer i played a lot with it this night. the only thin i can´t run is the second midi in and out and i cant send a midi clock in. hmm what could it be ? any how thanks for this nice project. have a nice christmas. cit

Hi , i ve builded up my V4L and all lookings fine, ive flashed it and it looks like here... i uploaded the bootloader and the firmware seems to be installed. I see on the left side of Mios studio that there is a mios 32 and he reads out the information of the 1769. and he shows that there is the actual V4L firmware etc..by T.Klose...... But he wrote that there is no SD card. i think there i have soldered the card reader in a wrong way. so i put the card reader out and restart the whole Sequencer But when i plug it off and restart the V4L the first 8 LED´s ( Left Side / TOP) make a night rider flash. after that there a 4 LED´s on and when i push one button the is a stange led sequence. Do you have an idea what ive done wrong ? i don´t know whow to debug, if you have an idea it will be fine! Did i something wron with the cables? I ve tryed somethings out but im on a one way can´t find a solution.

is it the same pcb style , means is there the same printing on the pcb than christians ? just to know if i can order a transparent front whitout engravings :-)

Hi Peter, danke für die antwort warum das nicht so machen wie Thorsten es dort gemacht hat. Dann ein case wie von Christian ( CD ). Also selbst wenn mann es auf streifenraster oder lochraster aufbaut . Das ist einfach zu genial um nicht zu machen. leider kann ich keine Platinen Layouten, sonst würde ich das machen .
