  1. ahh yes I understand it know.. need some thinking how to solve this.. /spirit
  2. I will test this when I have the time, first I need to program a Lighting show for Thursday
  3. yes I did notice this already. by trial and error.. but the problem I have is that this command line: doesn't clear the LCD /spirit
  4. hi again. I have a problem that a banked button doesn't clear screen with LABEL="%C" if have 5 buttons that's change the MAIN Banks : as you see they also trigger SECTIONS because on the NGR I put all the info that the LCD should show. they also Clear the LCD so that the text is not overlapping. now I have SUB banks on the MAIN banks.. so here you see on BANK 20 if I press button id 12 it will switch to bank 21 and it triggers a other section.. so a other text on the LCD screen. first I cleared the screen on the NGR so that the text wasn't overlapping, the only problem is that ^label on the NGC aren't shown.. only if I press the button or drag the slider the ^label was show.. so I removed the %C command from the NGR. now if I switched to Bank 21 the ^label was show right away. only the text from bank20 is still show in peaces because the text from bank21 is on top.. so I did this but nothing happened.. so I removed the BANK=20. and everything was working fine only the only problem now is if I press button id=12 bank 21 is allways triggered and doesn't act as a SUB BANK.. kind regards, spirit
  5. hi again and thnks for the replay. but I did this and this seems to work OK!!! and it also seems if you one's used a ROUTER command and delete the line afterward. the ROUTER command stays active.. you need to Unplug the usb from pc and connect it again before the ROUTER command stops working? oke I tried it again and i'm right.. Steps to reproduce: 1:Set a Router command (router n=1 src_port=in1 src_chn=17 dst_port=usb1 dst_chn=17) 2:drag a slider 3:all midi events are forwarded (correct) 4:remove router line from .NGC 5:drag a slider and still all midi events are forwarded? (not correct!) 6:uplug usb and plug it back in again. 7:drag a slider 8:now all midi events are not forwarded (correct) I think this is the reason why it did not work for me because I got faulty results also therse a other thing that I don't understand. that's because on the EVENT_SENDER command you have cc=20 on the example but it doesn't send cc=20. it just send the CC from the current slider I drag? kind regards, emile ballard
  6. hi thanks for the example. but still it doesn't seems to work. and the other problem is that the event pool allocation is rising big time!!!! for 7 banks with 16buttons+led and 5 faders from the bcf i'm already on 8206 of 24576 (33%) without the 5 faders from the bcf i'm at 12% but I did this and it seems to work well only the info that comes from the pc isn't going correctly for bank21 I have this for bank 22 I have this oke if I select: bank 21 (from BCF to PC) 1. on mios I get the correct channel and note. (working OK) 2. LCD screen updates the correct info on current selected bank. bank 22 (from BCF to PC) 1. on mios I get the correct channel and note. (working OK) 2. LCD screen updates the correct info on current selected bank. bank 21 (from PC to BCF) 1. it doesn't matter which back I select both channels are forwarded to the BCF (not OK) 2. LCD screen updates the correct info on current selected bank. bank 22 (from PC to BCF) 1. it doesn't matter which back I select both channels are forwarded to the BCF (not OK) 2. LCD screen updates the correct info on current selected bank. so from PC to BCF the lcd screen works oke. but the all the midi info is just going to the bcf.. also realy strange is that I only assigned channel 3 and 4 From and To the bcf..as you see the quotes above. if I send from mios to BCF on channel 2 nothing happens (OK) if I send on channel 5 to 9 the bcf also moves the faders  not good.. and if I send on Channel 10 nothing happens (OK)
  7. oke still not how i like to see it.. i like to have it that a x amount of note's /channel will accepted per BANK. as example Bank1 will accept Channel1 Bank2 will accept Channel2 and on.... but if i could also specify the note's would be greater. like bank1 will send/receive note/chn x to x bank2 will send/receive note/chn y to y bank3 will send/receive note/chn z to z in the end i will create a Full control bord with a Ainser and then it all possible without problems but for now i use my bcf to test everything. so i like the Receive / sender command can also do this.. like this. bank1 IF bcf send 1-1 -> mb_ng receives 1-1 and sends 2-1 -> pc receives 2-1 IF pc Send 2-1 -> mb_ng receives 2-1 and sends 1-1 -> bcf 1-1 bank2 IF bcf send 1-1 -> mb_ng receives 1-1 and sends 3-1 -> pc receives 3-1 IF pc Send 3-1 -> mb_ng receives 3-1 and sends 1-1 -> bcf 1-1 bank3 IF bcf send 1-1 -> mb_ng receives 1-1 and sends 4-1 -> pc receives 4-1 IF pc Send 4-1 -> mb_ng receives 4-1 and sends 1-1 -> bcf 1-1
  8. oke i found out this will do almost the job EVENT_RECEIVER ID=1035 FWD_ID=SENDER:1 BANK=21 TYPE=CC CC=85 CHN=1 RANGE=0:127 LABEL="@(1:35:2)%03d" FWD_TO_LCD=1 EVENT_SENDER ID=1 BANK=21 TYPE=CC CHN=3 with router ROUTER N=1 SRC_PORT=IN1 SRC_CHN=17 DST_PORT=USB1 DST_CHN=0 ROUTER N=2 SRC_PORT=USB1 SRC_CHN=1 DST_PORT=OUT1 DST_CHN=17 but i can only change the Channel but not Note? Kind regards, spirit
  9. hi i played with my MB_NG device from the last couple of days. it been a BIG!!! learning experience. with ups and downs and some FAULT error I got in my screen. but now I got almost everything working how i like to have it.. only i don't realy understand the ROUTER / RECEIVER and SENDER command. at the moment i have my MB_NG with 16buttons + 16leds + 4x40LCD + USB + MIDI IN/OUT1 as Beta version... now i have my BCF2000 connect with midi cables to MIDI IN/OUT1 and it all works Great! and i like to have something like this: Bank1= BCF sends chn#1 CC# 81 = XX -To-> MB_NG Sends chn#3 CC# 00 =xx -To-> pc bank2= BCF sends chn#1 CC# 81 = XX -To-> MB_NG Sends chn#4 CC# 00 =xx -To-> pc or bank3= BCF sends chn#1 CC# 81 = XX -To-> MB_NG Sends chn#3 CC# 01 =xx -To-> pc hope you understand this  PS: can it be possible to Output a Higher RANGE then 127 on the lcd screen. as i will use this for a Lighting software and with lighting you use 0:255 so can you make it possible that the POT uses 0:127 but the LCD shows 0:255. so each 1Velocity will increase 2 Values on the LCD screen. kind regards, spirit
  10. Hi hi as the link you posted "kb module" its says you need to connect it to J8/9 from the LPC module. because a Keyboard uses BUTTONS so a Digital signal and not a Analoge signal like Pots or Faders uses. /Spirit
  11. oke TK wins, but i will also take a look at Ebay  Kind regards, Spirit
  12. @ Duggle thnks for the Quick replay. i did not see it uses the HD44780 Lcd Controller. only after i typed in KS0066 on google i got the results right away. i also noticed it uses 2 E lines but thats no problem  @ Novski the LCD you see on the link cost 51.32 Euro's means 51.32/160 = 0.32075 Per character. on the mikes webshop i can get a 40x2 screen for 28,50/80 = 0.35625 Per character . Means mine is a little bit cheaper. And offcource i will also take a look at reichelt en Farnell because conrad is the most expansive one. Kind regards, Spirit
  13. hi everyone. i like to use the Button matrix but i need a Diode for this but i Searched everywhere and cant find which type Diode in need? and a other quastion is it possible to use these LCD screens? http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/175000-199999/187372-da-01-en-LCD_Modul_40x4_Zeichen_LED.pdf Best Regards, Spirit
  14. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2xstne3w6k1epg9/8x%20LCD%20V1.png?m hi again here a Update. here you can connect J28 With and without a Dout. Without DOUT - Connect Jumperwire - Dont add the 74HC595 - Replace Restistor with Jumper wire With DOUT - DONT connect jumper wire - ADD 74HC595 - ADD resistors. /Spirit
  15. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7clebiiwaim2j0s/8x%20LCD.png?m Hi i made a Idea for the LCD feature. here you see a 8x LCD Module.. you can also use it for the 1 to 6 LCD without a DOUT (74HC595) i will also create one with the DOUT (74HC595) But i wonder as i'm Not a PRO if you use 64 LCD screens will the Power supply form the LPC17 bases core be Enough? and is it a Idea to add a seprate PSU for each 8~16~32 LCD Screens.. also i ask you to look at it if i made it correct  i also know TK doesnt know if the D0 ~ D7 lines needs a Extra buffer. also do you need the 220 Ohm resistor on the DOUT or do you need to add a 1K ohm resistor as i see on the LPC chematics? Kind regards, Spirit

    Rectifier

oke thanks and just to be sure. I see a other one the AM150  50V and 1.5A this one should also work as im useing a Powersupply of 12V 600mA? http://nl.farnell.com/multicomp/am150/bridge-rectifier-1-5a-50v/dp/9381422 And the pinlayout dont matter as i'm planning to Create my own PCB.. /spirit

    Rectifier

Hi everyone. I'm trying to find all the Parts on "Farnell" But i have some issue's finding the Correct Rectifier B40C800 Is it realy nessecary i need the B40C800 or can i also use one with Higher Value's. ( On the Ucapps page i see on the PDF and images there is used a B80C1500 and on the partlist and Explanation the B40C800 should be used..) So can someone clear this Up for me as i'm sort a beginnen with Small Elctronic parts.... Thanks in advanced.. /Spirit
  18. Hi Khron_X you can get info on http://www.ucapps.de/ about all the Differnt modules. but i also agree there isnt realy much info about the MF_NG module But for the Daisy chain look at : http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_link.html for allmost each module you need the Core8 or Core32 but the MF_NG module got his own Core. Core+MF module on one PCB :-D the Brain to run Mios on is the PIC18F452 / PIC18F4620 or PIC18F4685 only the Firmware is differnt for each project. you can also use the Core8 with the old MBHP_MF module. but the MF_NG module is the Better version from the older one. /spirit
  19. Thats for the extra thinking. but as i sad before the Second AINx4 Module work like a Sharm. but i look a little closer to the other AINx4 module and i Noticed one BIG soldering fault and a Little one. so hopefully that will solve my problem. but first i'm waiting on my Nice Digitast Buttons. then the Pots will come ;-) Thanks for everything, Spirit
  20. Hi thanks for the reply i will look in to it. But i just connect the other AINx4 module and that one just works fine. i also connected the wires this time from 1 to 20. so if i get my pots i will try the other AINx4 module again and see what will happin. Thank anyway, and yes i made a MB64. Kind regards, emile ballard
  21. Hello again. I have connect 20 Fader to a AINx4 Maby a little strange but it Used pin 13 to 32. But if i slide the fader on pin 32 in Does not Respont. i if slide the fader on pin 31 it react only it Send 2 notes. And to make a Layout from Pin 32 to 13 it look like this. R = Reponding only it sends 2notes N = Not responding N-R-R-N-R-N-N-R - N-R-R-N-R-N-N-R - N-R-R-N As you see its the same Pattern But what did i do Wrong? Kind regards, Emile ballard
  22. and a other quastion. if i use Midibox 64 editor i cant save anything? /spirit
  23. Yeah! thanks TK i will try that. i did allready thought it was something like that, but could not find it anywhere. kind regards, spirit
  24. Hello again. i have made my Midibox 64. 1x Core 2x Doutx4 2x Dinx4 2x Ainx4 1x LCD screen Now i only connected the LCD and Dinx4 module. after some strugeling i also have MIOS on it and MB64. all from this page http://www.ucapps.de/mios_download.html But if i Plug in the power everything seems fine only then it Keeps sending random note's? so i wondering is this normal, and how can i stop it. i just like to send a CC# Note if i Press a Button or rotate a Encoder? i'm allready searching for 2days now but i Cant find anywhare a Solution or a Explanation? i can only find this on this page: http://www.midibox.org/users/tor_arne/midibox64_walkthrough/connect.html " Now flick the power button and use MidiOx to log your incoming MIDI events. If everything's working you should see your screen fill with MIDI messages. This is because the PIC is receiving lots of random voltages which it believes to be MIDI controller messages. In the LCD you should now see a menu (if it's blank try your contrast pot)." But it does not explain Way and how to Stop it? Kind regards, spirit
  25. Hi, Thanks! thats what i needed. /spirit
