oke nice i tried the new Bank feature and it works perfect!!! i got from 80% eventpool to 61% /spirit

hi and thanks for everything.. i uploaden V1_027 but i noticed something wrong.. on the .NGR i made a Startup sequence a tekst on the lcd and ALL leds goes on and Off after 5000mS. and after this i have EXEC_META RUNSECTION:1 EXEC_META SETBANK 4:4 But is doesnt RUNSECTION:1 anymore... before this worked perfect..? only if i press the button with Runsection:1 the Tekst from the .NGR pops-up... EDIT: i also notice the Led that should be ON goes ON perfect only i miss the tekst on the lcd.. so the Runsection command runs OK only i miss the LCD tekst.. /Spirit

your totaly right... and to give you a idee what i have done. https://www.dropbox.com/s/kh6ae5fl59hmjb4/VIDEO0054.mp4 this is my first Beta testing version to see if everything would work how i like to have it.. and if i switch between Bank it will also trigger a other Runsection, this way i can create a navigation screen on the LCD. and here a image how the controller looks like now.. and as you see i have the 10 buttons on the TOP of the controller. i like to have the same Function/CC note if switch bank... so if i'm on Bank 20 i can switch beteen bank 21,22,23,23,24,25,26 and 27 i need the same CC on bank 30 i can switch between bank 30,31,32 and 33 i need a other CC then on Bank 20~27 on bank 40 i can switch between bank 40,41,42 and 43 i need a other CC then on 20~27 and 30~33 if i can use more then one bank on a Event this will reduce the amount of events allot.. i only need to copy it 3 times instead of 16 times.. kind regards, Spirit

hi TK i would like to have 2 features on he LPC.. First, is it possible to have more then ONE bank assigned to a EVENT_ this would i think reduce the pool event allocation for me ALLOT!!! Second, previous i have been busy with the Event_receiver and i could not assigne it to a BANK. can you still make this possible for me... :rolleyes: kind regards, Spirit

hi thnks for you replay. i allready noticed what each parameter does.. but What is Wrong and wat is good.. as you say about the CLACK the fader can do. i noticed this if i Change the PWN steps.. if its on 0.00mS then i hear a CLACK.. but if its on 0.50ms i hear a Very high (note)Sound from the motor.. what is better for the motors to have the PWM steps on 0.00mS or higher.. the same for all the other parameters. the lower the parameter the better or the higher the parameter the better, and offcourse each Parameter can be differnt.. but i dont like to Burn out the motors on the first year i use them.. and i got the 5v From TK first post as he used the same faders only then the 10K version.. hi everyone i played with my MB_MF and everything seems to work great!!!! i bought these faders RS60N11M9-LIN5K at the first look i did not noticed they where 5K but They work Great so thats no issue.. but i played a little bit with the Parameter i can change but i realy dont have a clue whats good and whats wrong.. i have 5V on them... i tried allot of differnt settings but they allmost give the same results.. it seems like Spotting the proverbial needle in a haystack and i dont have a clue how the Needle should look like. is there a Tutorial how to fine tune your Motorfaders. /spirit

does this also mean i only get 1 usb port on Mios.. because i also have a MB_MF module and its on USB port 3. and the Mios8 core respont right away no issue with that one.. /spirit

yes i run windows 7 i allways have this the first time i plug in the USB and startup MS. and if i press +- 20 times a button, it works oke.. but i will try to connect my BCF2000 with some Din5 cabels to the core and see if this makes any differnce as i also have been thinking that its a Problem from a Windows driver.. in the end its not realy a big issue. but i just wondered if other poeple has the same as i have... /spirit

hi everyone. i have the issue if i connect my LPC with usb to the pc and startup Mios studio. it says "No response From mios8 or mios32 core!" if i press Quary i get the same message.. but if i press a button +-20 times with a CC assigned on it. i will get a Midi input. and if i then press Query then Mios studio sees the LPC.. and i can acces the SD card. i realy wonder is it something i done wrong or is it a known issue from the LPC.. kind regards, spirit

hi again i also see something else i'm not sure about if i need to add this.. But on the LPC.pdf i see R23 (1K resistor) on RXD3. and on the MF_NG.pdf i see R6 (1K resistor) on RX and i wonder do i also need to add these resistors if i like to Connect the LPC and MF_NG with the RX / TX. or is it only used if you use the 6N138. and is it possible to send the .Hex for the MF_NG thru the LPC module? or do i realy need to add the 6N138 to upload the .HEX file thru midi ? uhmm realy strange i dont realy see where the issue is at but some functions give great feedback and others doesnt but the way the midi is send back to the controller are the same (only other note's offcourse) ahh now i see it .. some functions will send the Midi feedback on PRESS and others on RELEASE... sorry but still thanks for all the other help /spirit

hi everyone.. i have a issue with my leds.. they work perfect only it doesnt go ON on the moments i would expact they should go ON.. as i use a Lighting software and the software sends Midi massages back to say if a Led should go ON or OFF. if i press the button with the MOUSE on the software the led Goes on (OK) but if i press the Button on the LPC the corresponding Led doesnt go ON it stays OFF (not ok) this is the line i did some trial and error with.. EVENT_BUTTON ID=2000 HW_ID=12 FWD_ID=LED:6 TYPE=CC CC=70 CHN=2 i also lookt at the massage that the software sends back to the LPC with midiox and it seems ok. so i wonder why doesnt the led go ON if i press the button on the LPC? why does it only work if i press it with the Mouse on the software? and to get a idea how my midi controll looks here's a image :-) it still a work in progress each time i test it to see if it works ok.. i use V1.025 /spirit

hi as i allready see a quastion about MB_MF i will add mine to :-) i'm going to use 5 motorfaders can i just Use 3x l293d IC and keep number 6 un-connected? do i also need to connect pin 6,7,8 to ground so it doesnt send ALLOT of random Value's? /Spirit

Yes if the button is Unpressed it should be around the 5V and if you press a button it should go to 0V Did you add a EVENT to the button so it actualy does something? /Spirit

ahh yes you also see that on the pic but you use the wrong Row pins... you need to use J9: VS VD SO <----!!!! SC RC1 SI = for DIN (Buttons/Encoders) SO= DOUT (LED) /Spirit

ahh i found out its not the %C or banks that give the issue i have.. But its the EVENT_*Sender*Receiver that causes this. because if i replace all the Senders and receivers with a "Virtual" Event_AINSER then the LCD updates correct.. /spirit

EVENT_RECEIVER ID =2 type=SysEx stream="0xf0 0x00 0x00 0x66 0x12 ^cursor ^txt" with this line i get a Error. EVENT_RECEIVER ID =2 type=SysEx stream="0xf0 0x00 0x00 0x66 0x12 ^cursor ^txt56" this doesnt give a error. /Spirit

i would prefer LCD_POS=LCD:X:Y its way easyer to find where you are at the LCD. oke i get a error on the mios terminal. [ 633.731] [MBNG_FILE_C:23] ERROR: unknown SysEx variable '^txt' in EVENT_RECEIVER ... stream=0xf0

oke i found a nother one.. you say the %C will only clear the current seleted bank? why Does a Button thats NOT assigend to a Bank..and haves a %C will also Clear all other Bank"s Label's? /spirit

I have been looking at the Steam feature.. and it getting beter and beter... as I never use ASCII. but print a text on the lcd is no problem.. only I noticed I can only set the Curser postion on the Sysex as ^curser or 6C 63 64 20 40 28 31 3A 31 3A 31 29 (your Hello world example) can it be possible to do this on the NGC file? something like this? txt56:1 then lcd_pos=<lcd>:x:y label="txt56:1" or do i miss a Feature. but this is very new for me so I have some other quastions to.. as I used a Example from you.. type=SysEx stream="0xf0 0x00 0x00 0x66 0x12 ^cursor ^txt56" if I send F0 00 00 66 12 01 65 6D 69 6C 65 F7 the lcd will print emile (my name ;-) ) on curser 1 but if I change the Event_ parameter to type=SysEx stream="0xf0 0x00 0x00 0x66 0x12 ^cursor ^txt" instead of txt56 i add txt. and i send the Sysex i see nothing on my LCD? kind regards, spirit
