Hello, Looking at the schematic of the MIDI IO board for the STM32F4, I could not find a reason why it would not work as a a MIDI 3/4 extension for the older LPC17 core. Just wire J4B, J5.A6 and .A7 properly to the J1 of the new board (& gnd/5v). Am I correct?

Hello, just in case someone is interested: my MBSEQ is collecting dust because I'm gravitating back to guitar in a new band. It is here in NL, it is LPC1769 based with a Wilba control panel pcb. Its is in a hard plastic 19" 3U rack case with green leds (step leds are green/red of course). It is also equipped with an onboard DREAM sound card. The front plate was made by Formulor. The LPC core has the standard MIDI 1/2 in/out and USB of course. The soundboard is on a veroboard that also has midi 3/4 in/electronics. No D25 connector (yet) nor extra IIC midi outs. It has a built-in card reader Info on the soundcard is here: Mail me in case you are interested. My asking price is €500,- I'll be happy to share more specs and pics.

Grtz! E.L.

That's OK, I was hoping hat a sysex message could simply trigger something like SCS_Msg(SCS_MSG_L, 1000, "Left", "Side"); But the SEQ doesn't use the std SCS module, right? I'll find a workaround.. BTW: I was looking to add dominant chords to seq_chords.c (i.e. major3 with b7 and variants). Should I stick to max &1f chords or can I go beyond that?

Thank you, I'm looking forward. if I may suggest: it would be very cool if the NG software would somehow automate the sysex string sending to the Seq, like the label command. That would be amazing cross integration between midiboxes. If others would need it too of course.
