Also found this in my travels: I've been struggling finding a way to control VST effect parameters with a midi controller like the phat boy but NADA. On the other hand, everything makes believe it is possible to do: the mixer track object have midi control possible, houston looks like it can do it, there's the remote automation.... IP: Logged Bells23 member posted 30 August 2002 06:33 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- yup try this,add your vst effect to whatever track,then go into the generic remote screen on the second lower half youll see fader 1 and device (vstmixer) on the right of that youll see channel category. click there once and choose selected then click on the right of that, value/action and youll see the parameters of whatever effect your using choose one and hit learn. let us know how it goes.. If you werent worried about them being velocity sensitive? couldn't you just use a pad to operate a tact switch or another momentary switch? (0v - 5v) sorry if Ive missed your point! Dont know where you would find pads like that tho!

opps sorry guys, I would have got back to you but............... I still haven’t had time to play around with it. Been extremely busy @ home haven’t touched the MB64 in over a week :( I think im suffering from withdrawal symptoms though (luckly I can still check this forum from my work computer ;)

Hi check out : http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_ltc.html To drive the midi thru only (and 2nd out) you would not need to stuff the max232 only the 2x74HC00, resistors & caps You would need both 74HC00's as one drives the midi ports and the other drives the Leds Maybe someone can help me does anyone know if there is any way to run the LTC module with the midi-com and the additional thru/out ports? at the same time.

Hi I dont think it really matters with the Bridge rectifier just as long as you get the pins right ie the positive and negitive markings on the output side its just so if you plug in an adapter with reverse polarity or AC supply it will still supply the +ive to the +ive track and the -ive to the -ive. The only other consideration is if it will fit on your board or not! The voltage on the Caps is not too important either just use the closest voltage you can find. Not too big tho If Ive got this wrong someone please correct me ;) ..pEaCe..
