  3. argh! I missed this but at last i, too, wish to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!1 :-)
  4. i have recently build a midi thru box, following some schematics found on the web the complete package with document is here http://www.alchemystudio.it/docs/midithru.zip i use it because i have finished my soundcard PC midi output, and i needed a additional midiout for connection to the midibox. i build it on a breadboard and it works well.
  5. and the ground? an analog pot has 3 contacts, gnd, Vcc, signal..
  6. my touchpad is this one there is a matrix for the buttons like the one of the computer keyboards. the one thing i don't understand is that is see only 4 contact that go to the whole touchpad: two on the X axis (one left one right), and two on Y axiS (up,bottom). i imagine i have to power by 5V-gnd the X and Y axis, separately. but then, i will need two more wires to take the signal.... it's hard to understand how this thing works... i bet i will never be able to use this!!! :-(
  7. i was building the midibox16E with 16 encoder and 16 pots + some other gadget (see the gallery!)

  13. actually, i have learn that i can also get 5V fromt he joystick port. i will try soon to power my module from this... and then let you know... for now i have only mounted a fuse on the board.
  14. hi! this sid control vst is extremely useful but... it seems to me that it transmit only to channel1 even if you set a different channel. i can solve this problem via software with my creamware audio card, but maybe other cannot it could be GREAT if the vst could accept incoming CC and update its setting after receivinv a CC: in this way you can transfer the current patch data from the midibox sid to the VST and edit it on the screen! anyway, thank you very much for this great device!! :-)
  15. hi! i'm about to build a midimerger and a midi thru box, and i will power them with the internal pc power supply. but i recently read a post by kc (reply 13) http://69.56.171.55/~midibox/forum/index.php?topic=5116.0 that says to be aware of power spikes by the power supply itself... i don't want to burn IC... so... what do you suggest in order to protect the IC itself?? i originally thougth to insert the usual caps needed for the midibox (el.caps and the smaller one...) what besides this? thanks!
  16. well, at least i can express myself in a good way! :D
  17. now that the forum is up again, i can post this also here! :-) with the current seq version, it is possible to gate note in triplets and doublets with a single note lenght event (with the 2x, 3x, 4x feature). considering the 2x case , it would be interesting to enhance this feature so that the first of these two events will not be played. in this case, you can obtain interesting "up beats" and are not always constrained to play the first note of the doublets/triplets/quadruplets. considering 4 beats, you now cak have: X X X X X where the last event is a 2x gate lenght event. what i'm proposing is that the used can chose not to play the first of the two last events, in order to obtain: X X X .. X where ".." represent the now muted note. in the case of triplets and quadruplets, of course the possibilties are a lot more (for example with the triplets you can chose between X .. X .. .. X .. X X and with four beats even more... well, this is all... i hope that my idea was clear!
  18. http://69.56.171.55/~midibox/forum/index.php?topic=4550.0 i use it with success!

  24. per la fattibilità direi di si. conta che midio128 è stata fatta (mi sembra) proprio per midificare un organo. e qui sul forum c'è una sezione relativa al tuo scopo (midification)! buon lavoro!! :-)
