3mm aluminum panels (brushed and colored :))
Let me figure it out first and make the drawing and do a test run.
Does $6 including shipping sound fair for a window 3mm thick trim flushed?

Looks like we'll have lots of production options without ever having to get robbed by FPE. :D
I'm sure, just based on stepper sizes that yours will run jobs much higher ipm than the micro.
Here is the case I put together this weekend to contain all of the drivers, parallel port isolator, and the relays.
Yeah sorry bout the hijack but i thought it was better then to open a new thread.
My steppers can go up to 600 ipm i think. I am allready thinking about building a new cnc so that i can get 250 ipm. Currently the machine can handle (mainly due to bearings and trapezium spindels ) 50 - 100 ipm
The case you have is clean an tidy nice work. Is it an old rack enclosure of a pc?
Awesome. Both really nice looking CNC mills. Twin-x, is that also a kit, or complete DIY? It's a really good size table. Can you tell us how much it has cost so far?
It is not a kit you can buy the plans online from tron-cnc.de and you have to arrange and create everything yourself.
I paid about 2500 euro for my machine and i can tell you it is far from perfect.
But it works and i am proud ;)

Nice Machine Narwhal however you are not the only one who build a cnc ;)
Today i run my first real test on my just build cnc. (it is made of 3mm lasercut steel and jbweld)
I am trying to figure out the backlash stuff and the speed. I almost wrecked it by running at 400ipm so back to 100 ipm. Now to get the spindel speed right.
My first test was on 3mm lexan i had lying around and the job took 21 minutes
Next test will be on acrylic so i hope for a better finish. The problem is i don't have power in my shed so i had to steal it from the building. Also when running spindel speeds above 10k rpm it makes alot of noise and i don't want to upset my neighbours

It means that i must upgrade dokuwiki.
Nothing for you to be concearned about.
However since it is integrated i cannot just upgrade on the fly as it can wreck everything.
*fixed the security hole.
Warning is still there but i will fix that later.

also i have to do this without wifey seeing me spend more money!! im still trying to buy some more stuff off smashtv and everytime she sees me in paypal shes over my shoulder at the moment.
O c'mon you can make agreements with your wife. Just setup pocket money for yourself or something.
I have my own bank account she has and we have a common one for the needed things and a savings account.
I can buy what i want even if it are used dildo's when it's depleted it's depleted. No questions asked.

That would be me maybe but can you wait until july?
Then my cnc router wil be finished. Working area of 1 meter x 0.5 meter. Obtaining that plastic should not be too difficult. Add a little time maybe for me to learn cnc :D

Unfortunatly nothing from abcMan aka Andreas from St.Ingbert Germany ! i have tried phone numbers but they are unvailable or doesn't answer :( If someone could have contact with him to ask what's happen !! i have sent him 65 € for x0xb0x boards and parts, he has received my money last month and since that date, he didn't answer anymore to Pm and have never sent parts and boards. I'm very disapointed.

Sorry for the bump.
Using the "Dark" theme, I don't seem to have the bookmark function.
No "Add bookmark" button, no "bookmarks" tab.
It wil work in july.
However you will also loose all your bookmarks.
After loosing them it wil work.

Yes natural color is also on the order.
I got Natural color
Black
Red
Green
Dark Blue
All brushed and 3mm thick. I do brushed as schaeffer only has matte painted panels.
I also have 1 black panel 1,5mm thick but someone from this board reserverd the complete panel.
As for the mb windows i hope to make them this weekend. I am waiting for my tools to start.
