Yeh cause I don't want to condone illegal activity, same reason that I've started this thread. Look I may not agree with all of the laws we have or the way they are enforced but I still don't think it's a good idea to just go around breaking them if you don't like them. I'm pro-anarchism FWIW, but while there are laws, we should follow them. I'm only an admin so that I can help to save TK some time with administrative tasks like moving threads around and removing spam and stuff like that, so he can focus on more important stuff like sidv2 :) The primary reason for the fact that I'm an admin, is that I'm always at my PC, either at work doing work, or at home doing work on the vX, so I' always watching and can respond quickly. I don't have any nameity over what's said or done in the forum (bold for everyone's attention)... Which is why my sig is what it is :) I don't want people thinking I'm a boss-man, I'm just a peon :) hehehehhe well that's not so much a joke as it sounds :) The problem with the media is that they'll only take your side if they think it'll get ratings :(

You bet... I mean, not all cops are bad cops... But so often they have to bend the rules to catch the real crims, they reach a point where they bend the rules all the time, and then when someone who doesn't deserve a hard time comes along, they just get the standard treatment. It's not the cops' intention - most of them join the force because they want to make the world a better place... But people are a product of their environment, and their environment is a massively flawed legal system which requires corruption to enforce it. You tryin' to call me an ass? hahahhaha The search engine of this forum is your friend :) try the word lazertran for a nice start :) Lots of people have DIY'd their panels, because the commercial ones are the most expensive part by far.... The FPE panels are reallllly nice if you can afford them, but having a decal made could be a really good option, or you can buy lazertran and print your own, paint them on by hand, have a sticker made, or go without labeling altogether - although I may complain about it ;D (That's a joke that you'll get when you read some of your search results) Just don't forget about the drilling....

Oh I know :) You know what they say about ass-u-me ;) TK won't be changing his panel cause they cost a lot, but the internal hardware has changed. It's primarily a PIC-swap (which you don't need to worry about, just use v1.74685) but there have been minor wiring alterations to support the new PIC's CAN buss. I would be surprised to see many more changes...

You should hear the stereo goodness through a surround decoder! He like, twisted a knob, and the sound ran around behind me and belted me in the head. Great stuff!! The feedback sounds totally awesome, and cranked up to full it's like the perfect distortion circuit for a SID. The mod matrix is just... crazy... Super flexible... there's no latency whatsoever... Physically it's reaaaalllly nice, the pics just don't do it justice, especially the buttons, and he was kind enough to turn the knob illumination on, and although I have to admit that it might not be the most practical thing ever, it does make it look pretty crazy. I could go on and on and on, but I just can't find the words... It's just... Perfect....and I'm sure my neighbours will ask about the noise tomorrow morning ;D When I noticed it was midnight I turned it down... a bit... then turned it back up, like 2 minutes later... I'm only human! ;D Thanks to Wilba for the demo and of course TK for the code :) The sweet spot in my living room will never be the same :)

Well nobody knows, because it isn't finished yet. Originally it used the PIC18F4620, and then changed to the 4685, which is why Wilba is redesigning his PCB, and a perfect example of the kind of reasons why I haven't started yet. You can find out about the current alpha's hardware if you read this thread, and chances are, nothing else will change. But I do not own either a time machine or mystic crystal ball, so I can't say ;)

I guess that's a personal decision... For EG Wilba went right ahead, and I have decided to wait until it's fully released. You have to weigh that up for yourself... There's lots of good and bad reasons for both...

Well funny you should mention it, because that's one of he things I was concerned about... I guess that, attacking complacency is something of a theme... That's part of my problem...
