You mean you bought the modules?
-
Oh thanks for lookin out for me bro! :D I wasn't planning on buying this one (as much as I'd like to, just can't afford it) just wanted to put it in the right spot :)
-
Have you tested the core module before or is it new? I'm guessing you have a known-good PIC there that you could try in that core, but I'd check the voltages first... Prhaps you could try that PIC (the 4685) in the known-good core too?
-
Ahh it took me a minute to figure that out... I think that one is only a crosspost if you speak German :)
-
Woops. Helps if I click 'send' too! ::)
-
So you want this image as a PDF printed from FPD? Is that correct?
-
No worries dude. Just while we're wasting bandwidth to try and look pro ;) A little advice for you and everyone else: I HIGHLY recommend going into the java control panel after installation and turning off the internet update. It'll be a bandwidth hog for you, and the update is notorious for screwing it all up and making errors like this one: Messed up Start/Taskbar Graphics and lord knows what else...

Thanks man :) Welcome aboard!

For windows? Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003 Offline * If that won't work: http://www.sun.com/java/ Click "Get Java Software for Your Computer (JRE)" Click "All Operating Systems" Hope that works!

LOL I think I've said before, that big postcount of mine is from asking questions, not answering them hehehe I am trying though :) Check out the comments in the main.asm, they may help... I must admit that a very quick search didn't find any info that I could paste to help you out (it was all in relation to using the touchsensors for motorfaders), so if you do find out how exactly to do this, it would be very kind of you to document it for future midiboxers :) Good luck!

Anytime :) I guess I'm starting to show my age with all this command line crap though hehehe Hah true... Just for future hacking, quite a few options can be added to the makefile.spec too, so that you don't have to edit the makefile.bat that gets generated, every time you run make.bat. Oh man I still keep missing commas and shit. ASM can be ugly but the 'direct' nature of it can make it a lot easier to deal with sometimes huh. I think you'll really like C::B... As a C newbie I found it really nice to have it doing things like highlighting bracket pairs and autocompleting stuff and indenting automatically and jumping directly to the erroneous line when a compile fails... Doesn't help me to remember to put that bloody semicolon at the end of the line though ;D
-
Gday mark, welcome aboard :) I don't think you'll really be able to use the PICBASIC code in MIOS... To be honest I know almost nothing of it, but perhaps after you compile the program you could use some of the ASM code it generates? If you're C savvy, I wouldn't bother with it, instead I'd just use the C Interface. It's pretty damn good IMO, you shouldn't have to roll those sleeves up too far ;)

Sure dude, just add a redirection :) Basically, do: make.bat >myerr.txt type myerr.txt | more You oughta check out CodeBlocks bro :)

Thanks for the offer pomics, but I've been off work sick for a long time and now I'm broke as a joke :( It is a really interesting CS, even though I don't know if the circuitry will be of use... I'm sure you'll find a buyer soon :) Hope it's OK that I moved this to the fleamarket section, it should be easier to find now, and maybe a MB64 user will want one, who knows. DrBunsen: Sorry man this killer flu BS has had me locked down ... If it's in the way, I can pay for a courier, otherwise I hope we can catch up soon :)

http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/snapshots/sdcc-2.7.0-rc1/ This just got announced to the mailing list, I thought I'd let you guys know in case you're not subscribed... I'm checking it out now... If the latest 2.60 snapshots are anything to go by, this could be a nice release. I don't see any big changes though, to be honest...

You do great recycling dude. PSU looks lovely :)
-
Are you selling this?
-
Just ask your boss to order it for ya :)

As in, one DOUTx1 module has 8 outputs (DOUTs)... Just being pedantic ;)

Yeh especially after the leader of DoD just got deported to the USA to face charges... It seems that the US are now enforcing their laws globally. Yay, World Police ::) I would say that, in the interest of avoiding unwanted attention, the poll should be avoided... Last thing we need here, is some lawyer idiot with nothing better to do with his time, serving TK and/or TwinX with a suit for encouraging piracy...

Hah you got that right! I can't find any switches or bushings to match these things, at all, whatsoever. Damn! Edit: I really do wonder why a company like APM would make boots for a nonexistent switch... Perhaps this is just a legacy part? Thanks for the info though man :)
-
Hey dudes... I've found a part that I'd like to get, it's a silicone boot with a built-in mounting nut for waterproofing a pushbutton. The thread size is specified as 3/8-27NS-2B . I know that's a 3/8" diameter, but the rest is freakin Martian speak to me. I hope someone can shed some light on this for me, cause I'm now trying to find suitably threaded switches, and many of them have a far shorter description of the thread, like just 3/8" or 3/8-31 or something, and I'm not sure whether they will fit... Even better would be a suitable bushing, like a threaded metal tube with a lip. I'd also appreciate it if anyone could help me find a source for those. I've attached a pic to show what I mean... The idea being that I can then panel mount the seal by screwing it onto the bushing, and PCB mount the switch and pass the button through the bushing. Thanks for any advice you have :) bushing.JPG

just built midibox64... how to connect with ableton?...
stryd_one replied to dizzu's topic in MIDIbox HUIs
How many pots/ faders/ buttons/ encoders/ screens/ LED's/ etc is the maximum that I can connect? Click the link for the rest :) -
I was just lookin at these goodies: http://www.imagesco.com/sensors/flex-sensor.html Not sure if they'd be easy to use with that resistance (10k min - 35k max)... But $10 is cheap Must be a sensor vibe in the air... Maybe AC will release the new ACSensorizer soon too, things tend to come in threes ;) Edit: http://www.imagesco.com/sensors/flex-sensor.html That's cheap FSR's... $18 for a 2 foot long ribbon controller is hot....
