  1. Villadon - Thank You for showing such a good spirit! ;) You'll edit main.asm for Your both cores to reflect the hardware connected, change_id for the second core ("hardcoded" bootstrap loader id, but you can change it with software found from the MIOS download page) - You will upload MIOS and application to the first core and then MIOS and application with changed id to the second core. Be sure to use first core as "Midibox link FP" and 2nd as "Midibox link EP" - You can make configurations for the cores with vMIDIbox64E found from http://www.midibox.org/mios_tools/ Moebius - being sorry for the information overload and not even sure if the facts are correct ::)
  2. Thanks! "Multi core" environment should run Just fine. See "MIDIbox Link" page for further information: http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_link.html Moebius
  3. Yes - this is possible. You'll need to study MB64E main.asm file and edit it to reflect your Hardware and then compile the application. Moebius
  4. You are on Intel platform. Intel, If I can guess, then? "VIA" is funny. "viallinen" means defunct to us Finns. "VIAllinen" might refer to a Computer with VIA "shit set" oops, Chip set. Maybe things have changed. M
  5. No! Definitely not. But as I said: Midi specification is as on seen: midi.org It will give You the information You need. It's not up to me or anyone to "speculate" about this HERE... So It's "opto-isolated current loop", where did that get You?! More questions? Lets see what other poople..whoops,. people can say. Moebius
  6. Sorry to hijack the tread.. but: Apples or Oranges, Jidis? Any complaints on Apple harware?
  7. USB= Or which standard? Please watch the video again. IEEE-1394, or firewire or ..... I can tell Apples from Oranges. M P.S. So I'm saying: The spec for firewire didn't allow "Fuck ups" or USB to happen. See it Yourself on Your favourite platform,
  8. ""Common Ground" is something that any decent Midibox should have. There might be some on the eBay and some on the "Request to sell".. Please - don't trust on these - If not approved by Thorsten -none of these have the "Common Ground" the Midibox has!" Do connect the grounds. M
  9. Why? But does this answer any quoestions? Are You the one we can say: "Synapsys" - the guy who specsed midi? Please wiki me "isolation"? Yes - Why I smell so funny to customs dogs.. OR? Who gives a fuck? I hope this helps :) Moebius
  10. Yes, The Next Starwars Movie is entirely done with midibox, so thanks, and don't tell anyone - Please.

    wmidibox64.exe

wmidibox64.exe?!? Sounds like French to me! M
  12. Because MIDI specs says so. Enough? M
  13. At the beginning of the all Common Grounds. (Whoops - is this some sort of a Joke?!?) Let any "ground" be this point. Let any voltage be referenced to this point. Moebius
  14. Cool! Thanks Ludo! Moebius
  15. Hi. Short answer: Yes. (Long answer: the ground is the ground is the ground... ect.) It's reference voltage where everything is referenced - Your 5v might not be anything like 5v when referenced to the 9V ground. Moebius
  16. MB Seq. You can speak all german to TK, and only Try for Colin Fraser. M
  17. The "Ground" is "0V" or something, It's other voltages to referenced. Connecting that to "so called" ground - In Your case - "The case" or chassis whatever, makes this "reference voltage" called as "ground" reference? OK? M
  18. YES! You're absolutely correct. Ground those from the Ground points in AIN module. M
  19. Sort of. Yeah. 64E can support pots too. Yes. I'm saying YES! But I'm stupid -and haven't used this configuratiom. You didn't mention AIN before in this post. I don't think that AINs are scanned If You haven't enabled those by editing main.asm. Yer Welcome! Moebius
  20. Well, Does anyone here have THIS big studio? http://www.cikira.com/ - Or has named studio sooo nice :P M
  21. I hope not. Moebius (who smited for your question) - Damn You people. If I play like a badass treat me like a bad ass.. shite!
  22. Only Thorsten can answer what it actually contains ;D Some connections are going to MIDI side of one CORE module and the MIDI connectors are also on the same piece of the veroboard as audio outputs?!? That's bankstick module. Moebius
  23. Man - Don't use Dirty words like "Yahoo!" here! ;D THIS is one Incredible job You have done!! (Remember, he hacked motormix emulation and bits and pieces together!) Congratulations!!
  24. Hi and Welcome - Nice to see You here :) No need for LTC module - You connect sockets directly to the core as shown in the code schematics Sorry - no assembly guide available. Are You going to "optimized" or "normal" version? At least the PSU socket is re-usable, maybe the power switch (if you like), (and the Power led, bridge rectifier for "optimized" version) (powerdiode for the "normal" version) Audio out from the SID board goes straight to the female jack (or anything you like to use for output), it's also important to connect ground there - best way is to take that ground point from the PSU Ground. (Star like configuration) Use [url][/url] tags to insert link to the image on the webpage. Moebius
