i rather post them in public so everyone can benefit from my stupid mistakes.. unless you dont want your code to be used by others.. Of course i like that everyone can use it, but i would like that we first speak about it private, so errors from your side and mine can be corrected without being another error source for anyone else. I'm not sure to be clear :-\ hope you get it work anyway !! Short hints : Press the 'C=' key to begin. Press Run/Stop to Run/Stop the sequencer. (but your bankstick is empty yet...)

happy you : my little app support 8 pots. Depending on the midi channel you have selected, you can set CC's for each pots. I thought that 8 pots was enough, so i decided to use the UNMUXED mode. So you can send dedicated CC's for each channel (see variables.h => const unsigned char joy_map) (To select a channel from 1 to 10, it's C= key plus the number) Check this, and tell me what you think : http://jambonbill.free.fr/?rep=./midibox-kb/c Have fun and private mail me for any questions !!

True, i wanted to buy one, but i didn't yet, because i did'nt see 40pin pic support in the PICkit 2 Low Pin Count Demo Board. "The Low Pin Count Demo board supports all 8/14/20 -pin products..."

>:( arg, sorry about this, i did'nt see any popups with firefox, i'm sorry about this :o so, here is what it say about microchip supported devices : 10F200 10F202 10F204 10F206 10F220 10F222 12F508 12F509 12F510 12F629 12F635 12F675 rfPIC12F675 12F683 16F505 16F506 16F627 16F627A 16F628 16F628A 16F630 16F636 16F639 16F648A 16F676 16F684 16F685 16F687 16F688 16F689 16F690 16F72 16F73 16F74 16F76 16F77 16F716 16F737 16F747 16F767 16F777 16F785 16HV785 16F83 16F84 16F84A 16F87 16F88 16F818 16F819 16F870 16F871 16F872 16F873 16F873A 16F874 16F874A 16F876 16F876A 16F877 16F877A 16F913 16F914 16F916 16F917 16C61 16C62 16C62A/B 16C63 16C63A 16C64 16C64A 16C65 16C65A/B 16C66 16C67 16C620/A 16C621/A 16C622/A 16CE623 16CE624 16CE625 16C71 16C72 16C72a 16C73 16C73A/B 16C74 16C74A/B 16C76 16C77 16C710 16C711 16C712 16C716 16C745 16C765 16C773 16C774 16C923 16C924 16C925 16C926 18F1220 18F1320 18F2220 18F2320 18F2331 18F2410 18F242-2439 18F2420 18F2431 18F2455 18F248 18F2480 18F2510 18F2515 18F252-2539 18F2520 18F2525 18F2550 18F258 18F2580 18F2585 18F2610 18F2620 18F2680 18F4220 18F4320 18F4331 18F4410 18F442-4439 18F4420 18F4431 18F4455 18F448 18F4480 18F4510 18F4515 18F452-4539 18F4520 18F4525 18F4550 18F458 18F4580 18F4585 18F4610 18F4620 18F4680 18F6310 18F6390 18F6410 18F6490 18F6520

I just found that software : WinPic800 I'm at the office and cant try it right now, but looks interesting ! http:// _remove_ perso.wanadoo.es/siscobf/winpic800.htm http://perso.wanadoo.es/siscobf/descargas/WinPic800.zip Anyone knows it ? /moderator: made link invalid due to virus danger

Yes i am !!! Are you talking about that one : http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1406&dDocName=en023805 ?
-
It's C, and it's some beginner C code ! ;) Can you speak about your project ? (your talking about a gamecontroller)
-
Ok, i will upload my source and compiled code online asap. There is nothing finished, but it works and it's a good base i think. The sequencer part probably will look unusable to you, but the "live play" and arpeggiator should give you good results.
-
Of course it can be done, it's not much complicated to switch between sync24 and gbsync.

Hello, at the moment, i did an arpeggiator, live playing, and mini sequencer, (plus gameboy sync ;) I have mapped the keyboard with Ascii for inputs, and the keyboard layout for playing notes is 'SoundTracker style' but i'm limited by the PIC18F452 ram (especially for the sequencer), so i must continue with another pic. Would you like to build a board and try it ?
-
Yeah ! So, how did you burn the bootstrap loader ?
-
Amigaish waveforms that i'm talking about can be heard in that lo-bat tune : http://www.lo-bat.be/muziek/good_morning.mp3 Software is musicline, a dynamic softsynth/tracker on the amiga. http://www.musicline.org/ For the gameboy, listen to this tune http://sidabitball.free.fr//NewSlip.mp3 At 1'00, the bass sound is the 4bit wav, then it change to a kind of distorted guitar ;) Atm, it's just an idea and i'm just not sure it's possible, but i cant stop to think about it :P
-
Well, it could be a cool project, but that's not the kind of stuff i'm looking after, but maybe avrsyn can be a good base to start from, if it's open source. I'd like to do a 4bit waveform generator (like the gameboy wave channel) That produce a very typical sound, that i love so much !! (amigaish sounding ;)
-
Yep, that was the idea, i guess a pic can do it, but what about mios ? then what do you think about the covox dac ? (maybe it's too shitty, and a real dac do the job better, for quite the same price)
-
Stupid me, :-[ http://ucapps.de/mios/analog_toolbox_v1_1c.zip do it better ... Can someone explain me what the analog toolbox do ? (i dont have a AOUT interface to try it)
-
Hello, i had an idea, that is probably stupid, but i wanted to tell you : It's about generating sounds (digital waveforms) thanks to MIOS. I allready read somewhere on the ucappps website, on maybe it was on this forum that it's possible to generate sounds, but i cant remember the way it's working. You probably know the good old covox 'soundcards' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covox Dont you think it could be very funny to generate 8bit waveforms thanks to this, and a DOUT module ? (but maybe it's not fast enough ?) It could be possible to store loads of 8bit (even 4bit !!) waveforms inside a pic, or even to write algorithm for sound generation ::) So, what do you think ?
-
Oui, j'ai essayé avec les deux versions du bootloader, avec le même résultat, mais je n'ai pas pensé a tester de programmer un pic18f452 !
-
Moxi just found this interesting program : http://www.members.aon.at/electronics/pic/picpgm/index.html I didn't had success burning the new bootloader with it, but it "should" work with JDM. It autodetect the Programmer, and the pic, and the interface look very simple. Anyone want to give a try ??
-
-
Hello, Does anyone have an idea on how to know how loaded the cpu is ???
-
