  1. You've got something to trade, I don't. ;) I don't really need it. It would be a "nice-to-have"-thing. djjonnyjams, do you have more than one?
  2. Conrad. Home > Components & Kits > Passive Components > Resistors > Other Resistors > Resistor wires There's only one wire called "isachrome" 10 m isachrom 60 resistance wire (5.65 ?/m)
  3. Are there any handshake-routines implemented? A corrupted SyX-transfer could be a bit bad actually... :P It would be cool to get it work without PC. like the M-Audio wireless MIDI-stuff
  4. Hi Jon, welcome aboard! the information you are looking for can be read on those pages: http://ucapps.de/ MB-SID: http://ucapps.de/midibox_sid.html and of course the wiki: http://wiki.midibox.org/ Midiboxing is pretty easy. All the PCBs can be bought from SmashTV. He also offers complete kits, but if you want, you can order the other components yourself. A Midibox is completely modular. For all projects you need a Core module (PIC based Core). You can connect other modules to the Core, e.g. If you want to connect buttons, encoders, LEDs and Pots/Sliders. The module you are looking for, is the SID-Module. This module is controlled my the Core and it consists basically of the SID-chip known from the C64. For the most basic setup, a Core and a SID-Module are sufficent (an additional LCD is helpful for debugging). You can controll all the parameters over MIDI. If you have further questions, please read through the documentation, then search the forum (most questions have been asked before) and if you haven't found answers for your questions, you can always ask here or in the chat (that's where the geeks are ;)). regards matthias
  5. I assume that your PSU is simply not strong enough. Your MF-module(s) draws pretty much current when all faders are moving, so I think the voltage will break down. How much ampere can your PSU deliver?
  6. You can either use MTE's Traktorizer code, or you can code your own midibox application with pot and encoder support.
  7. Won't need them in during the next 2 months. PM me if you still need them.
  8. Do you know Fredl Fesl? Probably not. He's a bavarian comedian and he is suffering parkinson for some years now. He once told in a TV-Interview that he is using a modified orbital sander with some rubber instead of sandpaper on his arms before a concert. Because of that vibration, he says, he is able to play the guitar without his body shaking. Dunno if that could help in your case, but perhaps you might want to give it a try in case you have a orbital sander at hand.
  9. Encoders: http://ucapps.de/midibox16e.html no encoders: http://ucapps.de/midibox64.html You can keep the PIC. (=! PCI) No reburning needed. just upload the application you need through MIDI -> http://ucapps.de/mios.html
  10. good to hear. Keep it up! :)
  11. wie genau meinst du das? äh.. Bei mechanischen Encodern nicht, oder was? :P
  12. When I talked about "profile" I actually meant that little that links to his website... ...but yeah, I'm a ;D
  13. actually the URL was in his avatar and in his profile, so it wasn't that hard to figure that out ;D

  16. If you find matching PCB-mount faders and pots, you can do it like Wild_weasel and use the original PCB as template: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=wild_weasel You can at least reuse the Balance/Pan-Pots. I'm not sure about whether the EQ-pots are log or lin.

  20. I actually thought he might be able to figure that out himself ;) I don't think that there is a application where you can't use a 6582 instead of a 8580, except you don't like the sound of the 6582. Also I guess that there aren't many (non-midibox-)people aware of the fact that there are actually 6582 SIDs available, as they have never been nuilt into any Commodore AFAIK.
  21. http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,11935.0.html something like that?
  22. http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/wilba_6582a_sid_mega_sale edit: If I were you, I wouldn't post my e-mail adress like that. You know, Spam-Bots and so...
