  1. Danke für die Info, hat hier auch jemand andere Erfahrungen mit dem Zoll gemacht? Gruß Markus
  2. Hi stryd_one, I´ve already visited the homepage of our local custom and wrote them an email with my question. (Cause of the many articles of the german law) ??? This was a week ago and there is no reply yet. So I thought, perhaps someone here has some experience with the german custom. Regards Markus
  4. If the core sends midi data, you should check the pot on the coreboard for the lcd. Turn it from left to right, perhaps you´ll see something on the lcd. If not, for shure it would be broken. Greetz
  5. I don´t know if I understand you the right way, but with Midi OX you can upload sysex files via midi to the eeprom of your pic. With this possibility you can upload new applications or only a new bank for your controllers. Is it that what you need? Greetz
  6. First: You need the Bootstrap Loader on your pic. Second:Upload the Mios (MIDIbox Operating System) Third: Now you have to write/modify an programm (aplication) in c or Assembler including the MIOS functions and build a .hex file out of it. http://www.ucapps.de/howto_tools_mpasm.html Fourth: Upload the programm. Fifth: Test it with your midibox. I´m no programmer, but if you need help by doing it you can ask in the c or assembler forum here. Best regarts Markus
  7. Please check if there is a short at IC 3 between Pin 10 and 11. (The picture without audio wire)
  8. Have you checked the 2 additional isolated wires on the cupperside of your core? Because on an earlier picture I think it was on side 2 of this topic, I can´t see them. Greetz
  9. Have you messured the voltage at the SID chip? Should be 9V. Also check the ground connection a second time. Check C1 and C2. Should be 22nF. Best regards Markus
  10. No problem, you´re welcome.
  11. See also: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=8904.0 and search the forum. There are a lot of post to this topic.
  12. Hi, yes it´s possible to write and read the eeprom. You should have a look at the MIOS functions. http://www.ucapps.de/cmios_fun.html There are Mios EEprom and Flash commands. I think this could be what you need. Regards Markus
  13. Yes, you dont need the IC 10, IC 2-8, diodes D5-D32. But where are resistors on the mf board? I think you mean the diodes. Regards markus
  14. Oh I forgot, if you only need one IC, you dont need the J2 portconnection.
  15. That isn´t such a hard thing, you can learn it easiely. If you wanna try it I can help you to find the right way. First you have to know how to count the Pinnumbers of the IC: Make a print of the schematic I´ve postet. On top of the IC is a dent, now position the IC on your printet schematic. (Dent on dent). Now you know where the pins are. Connect all Vd together. Connect all Vs (and the Pins with the ground symbol) together. Connect S1 to Pin 9. Connect Sc to Pin 2. Connect Rc to Pin 1. Connect all inputs to an solderpin, this pin to the resister and the resistor to Vd. If you take an veroboard you have to make a break between the solders of the resistor. At least you have to connect the capacitor between pin 16 and ground (Vs). Now connect it to your core and it should work. If you have any problems you could send me an email. Greetz ;) Markus
  16. Yeah, you on the right way. Next step Mios, then the application.
  17. Hi, try this link: http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_dinx1.pdf Hope this could help you. Regards markus
  18. @DavidBanner I dont wanna say that there are lazy people here. But sometimes with a little more patience by reading and searching in the forum/wiki you´ll get it by your own. I agree with your opinion, there are a lot of people wich are encourage and help every newbie. I think thats a good thing and thanks for everyone who do this. T don´t wanna discourage anyone here. Sorry english isn´t my first language. Greetz Markus ;)
  19. In my opinion this is a good idea. But I think this is a diy projectside, so everyone who would like to build such an controller should have an basic technical background. If you have that background and you keep on reading the docus on this side it isn´t so hard to build your own controller. With helpful links and documentations espiacially for newbies you will not stop everyone askink the same basic questions. If a newbie doesn´t read this infos he will ask again.
  21. I think you should meassure the current of your servo motor at the startup moment. The TC4427 (Dual High Speed Powerdriver) has a peakcurrent from about 1,5 A. If you meassure the same or less current you can take the MF Modul. If its more then 1,5A you need an other powerdriver with more power. (This is only abput the hardwareside. I don´t know if there is a big difference from the programming side for an servo motor.) Greetz Markus
