@snykehd den Sequenzer hast du dabei vergessen. Hatte mir mal zum Vergleich so ein Setup mit einem PPC 1,8gh G4/ Ableton live/ Esi ESP 1010 Soundkarte u7nd PC P4 3G etc. aufgebaut. Das Problem ist nur, dass die Latenz des Systems mit jedem weiteren Kanal steigt. Wenn du dann noch Effekte auf verschiedenen Kanälen willst solltest du noch ne DSP Karte haben. Bei den Kosten kann man sich meiner Meinung locker ein Digipult kaufen. Wobei hier natürlich wieder genau berücksichtigt werden muss was man mit dem Setup alles machen will und wie flexiebel das ganze sein soll. Gruß ;)

When powering the core modul with J1 you should have between 7 and 10V. 6V is a little bit to less. The voltage regulator on the core board needs the higher voltage for right working. Greets Markus

The chip is normaly mountet in a socket. You can take a small screwdriver for removing it, better is an special claw for IC´s. You´ll get it in every electronic mailorder. greetz ::) Markus

Have you checked the value of the resistor R1? Are solder points in good condition? What kind of PSU did you use? (transformer or a switching power supply) How high is the voltage between the pins on J1 on the coreboard? Have you meassured the voltage between these pins like discribed at the core torturial? All this maschines look very great, but most they cost a lot of money. When you wanna built a big pannel you will have problems with some of them. I needet 16 holes for faders for my midibox. I drill one hole to the next and filed them out. Thats not so much work cause aluminium is an very soft/bland kind of metal. At least as a hint: When you have drilled the holes one next to one and you have finished that, you should take some tape on the left and right to the beginning and the end hole. So you have an the two endlines you´ll need for filing a linear line. My english isn´t the best. Hope I´ll could help you. Greets Markus

Hello, I´ve built two MB64 and linked them with MB Link. So I want to use the described schematic, first core menuebuttoms, second core lcd and led´s for showing messages from both cores. Hallo, habe vor zwei Monaten diese Seite entdeckt und ein paar Tage später damit begonnen eine Midibox 64 zu bauen. Dies funktionierte dank dieser Seite tadellos. Da ich aber mehr Potis und Tasten brauche habe ich dies über einen zweiten Core und dem MB Link realisiert. Soweit so gut, beide MB´s arbeiten ohne Probleme, nun meine Fragen: Hat schon jemand eine gemeinsame Menüführung, die Displayroutine erfolgreich programmiert, so dass dies wie beim MB Link beschrieben funktioniert. Habe leider so gut wie keine Programmierkenntnisse (außer Siemens Step5/7), wäre nett wenn mir jemand ein Beispiel Posten oder zusenden könnte von dem ich dann etwas kopieren könnte. (Vorzugsweise Assemblercode) Vielen Dank im Vorraus, euer Wiki und das Forum haben mir durch konsequentes lesen viele anfängliche Fragen erklärt. Grüße :) Markus IMG_3928.JPG
