  1. Hey Nils would you prefer your LCD over a 4x16?
  2. that hardplAYer is interesting, but yours is the one I'm interested in! ;)
  3. Nice man! I'm digging this. 8) Don't be mad or anything because in my opinion this is the monome style thing that I'll actually finally get and build. This is the best one!
  4. Well best of luck to you! :) It's a very nice project! :D
  5. Do you have plans to finish this? :o
  6. Hey thats fine. Take your time. :)
  7. Any updates in kits? Also Rasteri hows your standalone mixer going?
  8. Wow your just motoring through this! I applaud you! :)
  9. To use rasteri's high res encoders they would have to program for that so its up to them.
  10. Not to be like ancy and stuff but there hasn't been a whole lotta progress and stuff. Just want to see how its going. ;)
  11. Sweet! Keep me posted! Will it have the full range of features the Traktorizer currently has? Great news! :D
  12. Somewhere far in the future one of the coolest things you could do with these would make it a standalone controller. No computer. 8) I know I would appreciate it waaaay more because laptops are expensive and if it was straight no filtering through a computer. I know lots of work would be needed but just keep it in mind. ::)
  13. The dumb way I see it, couldn't you just route this nice encoder and stuff, through a jack on the bottom of the traktorizer, and using a switch to switch it? I think it would work.;)
  14. Hey Nils could you post a parts list for the POKEY board? ::)
  15. well I wasn't really going to do it, just throwing ideas out there and seeing if it was possible.
  16. wow thanks! :D
  17. Hey lemonhorse can you post the parts list for the AY board? I'm gonna try a vero one and it would be nice to know! ;D
  18. well you didn't burst my bubble but I think if you wanted to take an extra amount of time for not much you could do the audio and key/pot with multiple pokeys, and with the one after the other you could tweak a parameter and then set it, and with the qwerty I saw somewhere a guy took the circuit board and fitted musical keys but it still probably is a whole lotta work for a whole lotta nothing! ::) oh and a quick unrelated question, has somebody made a midibox 64 keyboard? I think it would be fun to incorporate those into a lot of midibox synths! and NILS did you say the only way to edit parameters on this thing is with switches (for the shift registers)?
  19. Hmmm I had an idea. So since the POKEY can accept pots and keyboard, would it be possible to build in a keyboard, and pots for parameter tweaking. Then this would also solve my midi keyboard issue too! :P I'm very uneducated so I don't know if it would work. Thoughts?
  20. cool, I will for sure make this sometime in the future!
  21. Yeaaaaa! :D Good job lemonhorse! I can't wait till I'm rocking my 8-bit symphony with this, SID, and POKEY! So cool! :) also any idea when I might be able to get my hands on some of these boards?
  22. I know, I saw that thread but nobody really tried to do it too much so I made this!
  23. I'm considering going through this, http://electronics.wisc-online.com/ it has a TON of info and interactive junk too boot. I think I can learn alot from this!!! 8)
  24. Hah thats like exactly what I was looking for! ;D Thanks doug!
