  1. you not the only one, have the same issues, it says Error in HEX file - line 1 Invalid line length I am using MicroBurner with the K128 burner KITSRUS.com curious why this happens
  2. like your setup and your big black knob... where did you get it from? looking for something like that... thx
  3. starts finally to etch after weeks of designing :)

    DOUT4 limits

thx for the keyword, problem is, I can't matrix any dout channel anymore or it has something attached that is not suitable to matrix.... ports J10 and J6 doing nothing in my layout, is it possible to use them as additional DOUT ports???? If I kick some segment display behind a MAX7219, I can use the SPI interface with these 2 ports. Easier would be maybe using the design for the midi clock as used in the Midi Monitor. My question is or someone has done this before & is it possible at all?
  5. Hi, busy with designing my system and wondering or I can hook more then 4 x DOUT4s to my PIC Core? I need more then 128 out signals on my core and can't find any information or I can hook a DOUT to port J10 or J6 for example. J9 is already taken for the switches and same for J5, J7 & J15. Ports J10 & J6 doing nothing. Problem is that I need to hook up 8 segment displays and need for that 16 or 24 digital out signals (2 or 3 DOUTs)... if I can use much more douts, then I will also connect some led rings for the encoders. Don't want to use more Cores to make it only more fancy while have some free ports doing nothing... any advice or tips? thx :afro:
  6. How can I get this gm5x5x5 pcb? Is it supplied with the GM5 chip?
  7. the 5/5 as you use 3 cores and need at least 3 MIDI connections... good to have 2 reserve for later expansions.... or you can use the 4th port for the master fader as suggested by Roger :) I will not use a separate master fader as each fader on my master panel can function as the master fader... we all have our own preferences :)))) I have just calculated that I need for all my VU LED panels an separate core and 4xDOUT4.... is it possible to use a link or LTC to guide the signal through an another core...???
  8. Has anyone any idea how long it will take that the GM5 will be ordered because then I like join for a few pieces. Need my setup very soon alive so can't wait too long... already looking for a commercial solution with at least 5x MIDI (best 8!).
  9. I am also busy with a project like this & will need 3 cores for the faders. If I have this correct, to connect all cores with my computer (I use ProTools on a MAC), I will need for each core a seperate MIDI port. That means 6 cables, 3xIN and 3xOUT. Is that correct? thx
  10. And did you find somewhere dual-motorfader units? Would be great to use analog audio combined with motorized faders. I am reading now for 2 days here (& ucapps.de) and still wondering how to get started... can only find one track motorized faders and have absolute no clue how to read a position of a single track fader. Maybe you can help me on the way, the rest I can find then out by myself (I hope!). Programming PICs should be no problem, my entire house runs on this little chips. thx for any help :)
  11. Curious or you still have them? I am looking for 8 pieces. If not, I'll get them from Mouser... thanks :D
