  1. Nothing to add, but I just wanted to join the chorus and say your box looks and sounds fantastic. Something to aspire to.
  2. Dammit... reading this thread has got me worried about smoking my SIDs and they haven't even arrived yet. Until there's an mb6582 PSU for dummies, I'll have to take my chances I guess. I'm the last person who needs to be playing around with mains electricity.
  3. Thanks for working on this Shuriken. Count me as +1 for the bulk order.
  4. Give John Lewis a try if you've got one near you. My wife bought a sewing machine there recently, so it's a reasonable bet that they'll have sewing machine oil.
  5. Thanks for the welcome Tbreath. I will make a point of getting on the chat to annoy everyone in person sometime soon. I will definitely use SmashTV for the boards and the parts he has available, so it sounds like it's mostly the control surface bits that I'll need to pick up separately. I'm not in any particular rush though. I've got a couple of half-finished projects on the go already, and I'm so buried in study it's untrue. If you do decide you have more knobs than you need, then do let me know.
  6. Wow, that looks fantastic Altitude. You mention you had FPE engineer the front panel for you. How easy was that process? Do you just send in the panel part of the case along with your design? I'm looking for case options for my meeblip, and this looks like a nice possibility. -- Richard
  7. Hi all, I'm new here. Halfway through a meeblip, I think I've picked up a bit of a bug for this sort of thing. Possibly a case of biting off more than I can chew, but I've started to hoard parts for an mb6582. On the off chance that anyone has 15 of the red ALBS Waldorf knobs they don't need, I'd be happy to take them off your hands for a fair price. Alternatively, if anyone's considering a bulk order then count me in. cheers, Richard
