I'm reading this over to see if I'm missing anything- You wrote on page one, "also, i left out any headers that are not for midi i/o, lcd, power, din, dout, and aout."

So obviously you use your own DIN and DOUTs with it... I have an AOUT_NG for my SEQ build, sounds like you've included it in the design and headers. Nice. Your PCB will support a traditional SEQ3.2c build, correct? I want to make certain because you mention your own custom build requirements... Cheers!

i originally was only going to make this pcb according to what i need, but after some time talking to others i realized it wouldn't take a lot more effort (actually, it did :P) to make it more useful to others.  so now it's set up for anybody building a seq or midi router, so it includes all headers you'd find on the core.

i ordered the first batch of pcbs last night.  as soon as i can verify everything works correctly, i'll open the group buy.

hey nebula,

my payment was processed on monday and i haven't received word yet about when they'll be completed and shipped.

their website says 4-7 days return, so by next week i should have the pcbs.

do you order from mouser?  here's a parts list for them.  this will go into the wiki soon but i have to verify it's correct.  i did the best i could but sometimes you just don't know until you're soldering everything together.  it won't be off by any major components.

Usually I order from Digi-Key just because they have really fast delivery in Canada and you don't need to fuss with duties/brokerage/taxes.

But I think I already have everything I'll need to get it populated.  I plan to use one for a quick 'n dirty MB808 sequencer, and I may use the another in my full-blown sequencer (haven't decided yet).

Any chance of getting a Order list for Digikey. I think its called a bom list or something. Its a file that you give to Digikey that already has all the parts and quantities. I think when you fill out an order you can save the order as this file if you need to order more later. I will look into this if I have time. Thanks again ULTRA!

if someone feels like making boms for other suppliers they should feel free to send it to me and i'll put it on the wiki. I personally don't have the time or ambition to do it, and I don't particularly care for dk anyway  since they've failed to follow simple shipping instructions in the past.

Um ... will the BOM not just be the same thing as adding together the BOMs for the modules that this incorporates?

I will be away from basically now until Wednesday of next week, in Detroit (DEMF, baby!) -- will be checking my emails and PMs from time to time though.

I used mouser part numbers in that list, but you can get mfg part numbers from mouser's site.

the parts used for the core are exactly the same as the list on smash's site.  for the iic modules, the difference is you won't need the 10uf caps.

also some of the headers are obviously different.
