paul_winterhater Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 What's your new job?Its weird how greetz is upside down at the top of the sign
stryd_one Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 The upside-down pale text is the super-duper-uber-mega-bright LEDs saturating the lens and doubling back. Gnarly bright.I'll let MTE explain why they are so damned powerful :)
MTE Posted November 30, 2008 Author Report Posted November 30, 2008 The upside-down pale text is the super-duper-uber-mega-bright LEDs saturating the lens and doubling back. Gnarly bright.I'll let MTE explain why they are so damned powerful :)Correct :)The LEDs have 50000 mcd I think :o This signs (4 of 12 on the photo) are mounted to some bridges in sweden for traffic messages etc....next job is to build a 25 meter RGB(!!)-wall for switzerland :)I love this job, its full of new electronic and mechanic input :)more photos soon
stryd_one Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 some bridges in sweden for traffic messages etc....MIDIbox.org says: Drive safely! :D(I was going to encourage you to put that message on the sign when it's moented on the freeway, but I don't want you to get fired from your new job ;) )
MTE Posted November 30, 2008 Author Report Posted November 30, 2008 MIDIbox.org says: Drive safely! Hahaha nice :D Ill forward this to my chief :)its full of new electronic and mechanic inputI meant more technical, its funny to stand with 3 engineers beside a product and philosophize a half an hour about 1 screw :D
stryd_one Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 I philosophise about screwing all the time!
Goblinz Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Is it midibox compatible and will it fit in Wilba's MB-6582 panel design?Oh, and count me in!
Kartoshka Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 just take one from a highway nearby, G... will be cheaper for sure than shipping by royal any post over there
Goblinz Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 I'll check the wiki and see if there's removal instructions
stryd_one Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 OMG doesn't anyone ever search?!http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/street_sign_lcd#removal
