sensorium Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 I'm just making sure I have everything to start building an MB-6582 ASAP. I currently have:1 baseboard PCB1 CS PCB1 Baseboard parts kit from SmashTVWaldorf style knobsC64 power supplyI know I also need LED's (I can find those)A compatible LCD screen (which one is recommended these days?)CS PCB parts kit (are these even available? If not, will they be?)Am I missing anything else? Thanks for taking the time to help me out. Quote
strophlex Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 As far as I know there is no CS parts kit so far. The parts for the CS you need are rotary encoders, diodes (easy to find) and tactile switches. Then you need some screws and nuts, case and panels.Last but not least. Do you have PICs and SIDs?Did you check out this? http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=wilba_mb_6582_control_surface_parts_listGood luck! Quote
Kartoshka Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 yes: ou are misssing 4x500K log dual feedback pots, and header' female connectors (2x and 3x) with crimps, to put on your cables which go from the baseboard headers to power led, fan, etc. This not mentioning header socket for lcd. stryd_one Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 People who don't search generally don't read stickies either :( Quote
dioioib Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 The encoders from mouser are really nice, I think they are Alpha brand 16mm.But everyone is correct most of the parts are super easy to find from digikey or mouser. Quote
