Phattline
I dont know is solid edge 3d, like 3d max?,Can you export it in DXF DWG? so I can make a script SCR that I can use in Eagle, for making a library?because I dont know the idges and step format...normally I work with autocard (day by day :)) and eagle...a little bit 3dmax...but 3d max i have not @ home. dstamand
@Phattline, no it can be saved as dwg or dxf, this is a 3D Solid model that can be used in 3D assembly.Perhaps it could be use it in 3DMax. Never tried.I've just put together a scetch drawing that show how i use the ledring with SmashTV long shaft encoder.ledring-idea1.pdfledring-idea1.pdf
dstamand
With the ledrings, i want to use my Soundwell encoders that i bought last year, i have 100 of them and my P-401 Knobs that i bought from Nebula but it requires an extension for the encoder shaft, the female side of the extension use a set screw to lock on the shaft. Without the shaft extension, the knobs not enough tight and became loose fast because to short shaft. Here's how i did it. See attachment. strophlex
What will be the total price per led-ring? I think this sounds a bit expencive and if it is ok i can take my order of 8 ledrings back. that would mean you have one ledring spare after ordering the 93 they have in stock.
