Simca
Hallo Thorsten, ja klar. I'm a Newbie. But you can tell. I'm desperate to get my own MIDIbox together. The only thing missing were the knobs. So I ordered "some" spare ones. Thanks for all your work btw. I really appreciate it. TK.
Hi Simca, I don't mean this as a personal attack against you, but there is a certain danger that Newbies we don't know use this forum for fake deals or as a commercial platform. By answering to this topic, you demonstrated that you are not an automated forum robot - great! ;) Could you please also post a picture of the Knobs next to your MIDIbox to show us, that they are real? Best Regards, Thorsten.
Smithy
Or a pic of you holding the knobs with a big smile! :D Due to the fact people on this forum are so trustworthy and reputable, i always worried that someday this trust might be exploited, and people who were too trusting would end up royally screwed. Reading TK's post has eased my mind a lot, i dont see any harm in raising caution around here, once people do not insult/abuse the seller. Simca
Hi gents, I definitely agree, I like this forum much, and will do anything to proove I can be trusted. Here's a pic I did this morning: Yes, I'm far from started, but I wanted to see the knobs for real first. You can see some of the components, some SIDs top right corner. And no, you will not get my smiling face with the knobs. Best regards Simca
Smithy
Nice Pic. What image editor did you use to line up the knobs in my initials? Thank you, i usedPhotoshop CS3 AHA!!!! Handssssss................UP! :o  Cant find that scene from The Great Escape anywhere on youtube, actually theres virtually no clips of the film left on there. Thanks for putting up the pic sigma, it might we worth making a wiki entry for the list of names. I put up a bulk order guide in the bulk order section, if you think you could do with a few tips, its 99% obvious information that you probably know already though! And yeah, i'd probably be too embarressed to put up a pic of my smiley face also! Edited November 29, 2009 by Smithy
TK.
Thanks Simca, this is really a sufficient demonstration that you own the knobs! ;) Yes, we should move this thread to the bulk order section - done. Best Regards, Thorsten.
Simca
Hi Smithy, you meant list the names of the buyers? How about I add the list to the first post here? I could also start a wiki page. Though I've never done that before. I just tried to login on http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/ and it wouldn't let me. Let me know what you think. Regards Simca

Regards Simca Hi Simca, yeah just a list of the buyers, and their desired quantity for each colour knob. What error did you get when you tried to login? I *think* the username and password should be the same as your midibox login. The benefit of a list in the Wiki, is that users can add themselves to the list directly, instead of you having to read through each post in this thread yourself, and manually adding them to your list. And theres also a history of every edit that is made, so say if you messed up the entry, it could easily be restored. Have a look at Goblinz previous bulk order to see what i mean: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=albs_waldorf_knob_-_order_no._3&s[]=albs&s[]=knobs Edited November 29, 2009 by Smithy
Simca
The error I get when login in is "Sorry, username or password was wrong." Maybe one of the Mods could kindly check this? Thanks. Regards Simca
HUROLURA
I have also the same type of error message. I am also completly new to this forum and waiting (patiently) for my MIOS32 ordered a few weeks ago on smashTV. I would have been interested of some "waldorf" Knobs but I would prefer some transparent ones ...
Smithy
Hmmmm, i have absolutely no idea what the problem is, all i can *guess is the wiki cant read new usernames since the forum changeover in November.
Simca
In the meantime, the first orders went out. I added the orderlist to the first posting. I also had the first problems: My packaging method, by putting the knobs into a vacuum bag, might have produced scratches on some of the buttons. Here are two examples: The first three orders were affected, and I already offered all of them a free full replacement or a full refund of the money. I'm very sorry for this inconvenience. I already started to use better packaging, knobs in a transparent pouch and this in a cushioned envelope. This packaging is even more expensive for me, but I do this at my cost of course. Also, a couple of buttons were delivered to me with production errors, like this one: Of course, I'm filtering out such errors. I hope for your understanding.
