phunk
Hi, while planing my MB64 i noticed significant changes in board measurements when comparing the downloadable DIN, PIC CORE and LTC eagle files to the delivered boards from smashTV. P.e. the latest available .brd of the pic core is mbhp_core_v3.brd while Tim uses v. r4d. DIN R5 board exceeds the width of R4 by 5mm. Holes have diff. positions, etc. I understand that this is not a big deal with big cases but when trying to build as small as possible it might be better to know exactly. So, is there a place where i could get them? That would be handy since i am importing them into my CAD to get an impression of the positions in the box. Thank you, Alex
nILS
So, is there a place where i could get them? No. Smash works with customized files (optimized for matching headers, being fabbed, ...) while the layouts on ucapps.de are single-sided for the DIY etchers. protofuse
I have to add something, smashTV modules are the only one reliable !
fallenturtle
I hope when he retires he plans to release the board plans to the community so others can get them printed.
ilmenator
All the schematics are known, so you could easily design your own board layout.
jaytee
For all the years of begging for the PCB design files to no avail, I wouldn't hold your breath. grab the OG BRD files from uCapps or whip up your own from the schematics.
