Is there someone who has ever done it? Wilba? If not, is there a file where i can find all holes positions to make it correctly? Thanks Quote
nILS Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 There is no .fpd file cause the cases aren't made by Schaeffer (you might have noticed it's acrylic and not aluminium :whistle:). nILS Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Inkscape can export to HPGL - that's kinda buggy though. I found exporting to .dxf and then using some CAD app to convert that to HPGL to work best. Quote

This is using the original three-stroke vector engrave artwork used on acrylic. I couldn't get Inkscape DXF output into a CAD package... I don't know what went wrong. But I do agree with nILS... the best way to get vector art into FPD is by using a CAD package and "plotting" to an HPGL file... that's how I usually do the optimized versions of my FPD panels (MB-6582, MB-SEQ).
