downerczx Posted January 3, 2011 Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 I was happily using my sammichSID the other day jamming out with a friend. Then, today I tried to power it up, and... nothing. I checked the power supply (12V 500ma regulated enercell from radio shack) and I only get 6VDC. I don't get anything on AC. Does this sound correct or should it be reading 12V? thanks. Does this sound correct or should it be reading 12V? thanks. You should get exactly 12V out of a regulated DC powersupply. They often have little switches where you can "dial in" the voltage needed. technobreath Posted January 3, 2011 Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 I thought the whole point with a regulated supply was to keep the voltage constant no matter what load is on it unless you overload it or something...
