(HOLD TRACK WRITE AND PATTERN A AND POWER ON) If reinitialisation is impossible, you can check Ram soldering (IC14 et IC15)if you don' t see any problem, resolder them I had the same problem and after resolder ram and reinitialize, it works now. good luck! (It's song & patterns will be full of garbage with no batteries installed, or if they are flat / been missing etc) The amount of times i've bought 707's & 727's that people said were not working, but it was just in the wrong mode? about 4 times.
