Altitude
You're not giving much info here. What programmer did you use to flash the bootloader and MIOS?
Los Zelos
I use JDM programmer from this page: http://www.schematics.wz.cz/schemata-PIC_Programator.html . With this programmer i tryied to load bootloader, if i understood right, i have to upload first bootloader with any programmer and connect the core via LTC to pc, after that, mios must show me that core is connected and with mios studio upload mios fw ? Altitude
why are you using LTC? It's an obsolete module and not needed (at all). You flash the bootloader with a PIC programmer, then upload MIOS via MIDI, then upload the app via midi
Los Zelos
Why ? I started with simple building for first start. I dont need super device, i will be satisfied with old solution. I built only http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_core.html, because i want to only copy "Traktorizer". I ordered interface cable USB to MIDI and im waiting for that from China. I have also only intergrated soundcard , therefore i cannot connect to Joystick connector, however now i have free COM port and therefore i wanted to try connect via that. Also on older computer i have Win XP , otherwise i have Win 7. I tryied that with YAMAHA To-HOST driver. Think you , that better is USB module from here ? http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_usb_gm5.html ... Here is cable from China: http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-IN-OUT-MIDI-Interface-Cable-Converter-PC-to-Music-Keyboard-Adapter-Cord-/271286969299?pt=US_Cables_Snakes_Interconnects&hash=item3f29f6a3d3 What way will be best for me ? btw, must i build the programmer from here with win soft for programming P18 http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_burner.html ? Or is my JDM programmer with PICPgm sufficient ? Edited December 26, 2014 by Los Zelos
Los Zelos
YESSSS !!!! I found mistake in ID Location. I have to burn chip with 0000 0000 0000 0001! The code 0000 0000 0000 0000 is only for MIDI interface , if you using LTC you must change location. I found calculator @ www.midibox-shop.com/idgen.html and tried to reprogramme device. After that Mios write me your board is connected ^.^ Im satisfied and happy that my board running up!! :)))

TK.
The LTC module was used back in 2000 as a cheap MIDI interface replacement. It was the time of Windows 98 and ME. Unfortunately today (15 years later!) the drivers don't work properly with newer windows versions anymore. :-( Use a cheap MIDI interface, it's more reliable! But please don't buy this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-IN-OUT-MIDI-Interface-Cable-Converter-PC-to-Music-Keyboard-Adapter-Cord-/271286969299?pt=US_Cables_Snakes_Interconnects&hash=item3f29f6a3d3%C2%A0 It's on the black list: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=midi_interface_blacklist Instead I recommend a "Neusonik uMIDI/O22" which is cheap as well, but very reliable. Best Regards, Thorsten.
Los Zelos
Very thanks, i used YAMAHA driver, and , red diode blinking every 2 secons. First idea was that drivers don't work properly. But out data (sending green diode have normal function). I also bought new chip and reprogramme with bootloader, now after complete check board and i dont know, where is mistake... I try to buy your solutions. Again thanks!
