CV and Gate/Trigger/ Setup - AOUT port no dual gates out

Recommended Posts

Lately I've been trying to use the extra functions of the CV-Gate out, specifically the possibility to send velocity with key values.

From the manual:

Quote

Note 9 Key Value -> CV Out #1, Velocity -> CV Out #2, Gate #1 and #2 triggered

Note 10 Key Value -> CV Out #3, Velocity -> CV Out #4, Gate #3 and #4 triggered

etc, etc, etc

When I use AOUT - channel 9 I get key and velocity from the first two CV's out, as expected. But only gate #1 is triggering.

When I switch to AOUT - channel 10, I get key and velocity from the second pair of CV's out: 3 and 4. And gate #2 is firing.

What I expect is when I use AOUT - channel 9, is to get CV's from 1 and 2, and gates on #1 and #2.

This is consistent through the whole range of outputs. All the other functions work exactly as expected, the drum gates and the clocks nothing wrong.

I found this advise:

And I've scanned through the entire config, but pretty much everything is standard. I use the Wilba Front panel with the AOUT-NG with the DOUT. Here is my HW-V4: https://pastebin.com/M9aXWjEx

Am I making a mistake assiging SR's? Or is it something else I'm missing?

Thanks!

Helo! Same problem, Wilba front panel two, last update but that's work well like that :

Note 9 Key Value -> CV Out #1, Velocity -> CV Out #2, Gate #1 triggered

Note 10 Key Value -> CV Out #3, Velocity -> CV Out #4, Gate #2 triggered

Note 11 Key Value -> CV Out #5, Velocity -> CV Out #6, Gate #3 triggered

Note 12 Key Value -> CV Out #7, Velocity -> CV Out #8, Gate #4 triggered

This was a translation error in the code, it's fixed now (and enhanced by a new feature! :)

http://www.ucapps.de/mios32/midibox_seq_v4_095_pre12.zip

o AOUT: Channel 9..12/13..15 now set the gate pins #1/3/5/7 as documented (previously it was #1/2/3/4 due to a code translation error)
New: gate pins #2/4/6/8 are now set whenever the velocity is >100.
This way the pins can be used as an accent trigger

Best Regards, Thorsten.
