I'm building a MidiBox LC, and I only have one MIDI IN and one MIDI OUT on my PC. Now... I'm also using a MIDI keyboard in my set up. Now, how do I connect this lot together, since my MIDI keyboard has no MIDI THRU. I want to be able to use the keyboard and Midibox at the same time.

Will a MidiMerger solve my problems? Or will I be able to use an LTC module instead? I'd rather avoid using my serial port on the PC if possible.

I'm not sure, but I think that LC needs it's own dedicated midi port. So you can use LTC, to connect LC and use midi port for keyboard, or get another midi interface..

Please, correct if I'm wrong...

Thanks guys. I'm gonna try using the MAX232 chip on the LTC module, then connect my Midibox LC to the serial port on my PC as suggested my mobius. I can then keep my Midi port on my PC free for my keyboard.
