Yeah thats a nice one.  Like that you are using the original drive LEDs too.

The Power LED shows the Power Status and the Drive LED shows the MIDI RX Status. I added one more of the DOUTx1 modules for this. ;-)

Very nice work!  Tell us a little about your CS design?

gladly! the group of five encoders have 3 different functions until now:

1. osc envelope (delay/A/D/S/R)

2. osc misc (transpose, finetune, portamento, arp, pw)

3. env 1/2 - (dep, attack, decay, sustain, release)

4. assign (not implemented yet)

you see the CTRL-button below the 5 encoders for selecting the functions. right aside the switch for env1 / env2.

for this i have modified the sourcecode.

above the 5 encoders there are buttons to select the osc's, the waveform, and ringmod. or sync-function.

down left you can see the LFO section and down right the FILTER.

left beside the display you can see the CC and EDIT buttons.

How many mcd do the LEDs have?

i don't know exactly. it's a low cost led by reichelt (www.reichelt.de)

here is the datasheet:

http://www.reichelt.de/inhalt.html?SID=15nnuicdS4AQ8AAFClmPE66281f45729e621115f9a3594a66f119;ACTION=7;LASTACTION=6;SORT=artikel.artnr;GRUPPE=A5331;WG=0;SUCHE=Led;ARTIKEL=LED%203MM%20GN;START=16;END=16;STATIC=0;FC=674;PROVID=0;TITEL=0;DATASHEETSEARCH=LED%203MM%20GN;FOLDER=A500;FILE=LED3MMG_LED3MMRT%2523IMP.pdf;DOWNLOADTYP=1;DATASHEETAUTO=;OPEN=0

I remember the data cables being very similar to midi cables.. and it looks like you are using those same holes.. nifty.. now if only you could do something with the platter switch  :)

yes, i used all holes of the case. two for midi in/out and one for the c64 psu. i also use the the original power-switch for my mbSID. the leds above the connection ports signalize the midi rx/tx status and the power status.
