LED rings Where do you get them?

Does anyone know if the led rings on the Clavia Nord 3 (http://www.clavia.com/nordlead3/pictures.htm) are made by Clavia out of multiple leds, or if they buy them premade?  If they're premade, who makes them?

making them yourself is not that hard, all the wiring schemes are avalaible... you can mix the colors you want and all...

I think I saw that Radio Spares or Farnell are selling an encoder/led ring combo. It was mighty expensive though at around $50.00 (Australian) a piece. :-X  :'(

So hand made is probably the go.
