Hi all,

hooked up my display on a tested and working core v3 yesterday.

But sadly it doesn`t works!

Here is my wiring,could some of you guys here confirm tjat the wiring is ok please?

Optrex - Core

1.VSS - VS

2.VCC - VD

3.VEE - V0

4.RS  -  RS

5.RW  -  RW

6.E    -    E

7.0    -    0

8.1    -    D1

9.2    -    D2

10.3  -    D3

11.4  -    D4

12.5  -    D5

13.6  -    D6

14.7  -    D7

15.Cathode  -  B-

16.Anode    -  B+

Anything faulty here?!?

Hi Brother,

I want to make sure you know that the pins on the display are numbered in pairs - that is to say it goes:

01  02

03  04

05  06

07  08

09  10

11  12

13  14

NOT like this:

01  08

02  09

03  10

04  11

05  12

06  13

07  14

that was the first mistake I made when I hooked up the first display.

Otherwise, we'll need to confirm ... the CORE was tested and working with a different LCD?

It'll take me a little while to build the giant control surface (!) I have in mind (and I want to finish my MB-6582 first), but I'll be sure to post some pictures once I've made some real progress (which won't be until 2008, unfortunately).
