Thank You! I've connected 470 Ohms in serial with pull-up resistor making it's resistance smaller. Everything works fine!

I haven't found them! I think, it could be moved to "Misc"...

Click link to ucapps page, scroll down, you'll see MIDI Troubleshooting near the bottom...

or

Click the search link, type midi troubleshooting, hit 11 is LINK TO MIDI ISSUES

or

Start at forum front page, scroll down to Testing/Troubleshooting, and you'll see the above link as a sticky thread.

Seems easy enough to find where it is ;) It takes some time of course .... Only took a minute for me to find it three different ways, but of course I'm familiar with the site... that's why it's important to read lots, it's not just the stuff that 'sinks in', it's also the stuff that gives you a 'feeling' of where things go... It's like getting to know someone's kitchen; I wonder where this guy keeps the beer glasses? Probably the same place he got that wine glass from ...

Serial makes it larger, parallel makes it smaller. Anyway, now we know that it was a dodgy midi interface, What kind of midi interface is it? I don't suppose it's USB, and running off a hub? (I'm trying to think about why it may be underpowered aside from just being faulty... maybe it can be fixed)

But it's most usefull for new users ;)

Misstake in translating, sorry ;)

I'm using DIY interface, connected to gameport, but the problem was at CORE module side.

Nah that's what I said - it's most useful for new users to read, read, read, so they get used to where things go, and can easily find it when they search, search, search. A stickied thread in the troubleshooting forum and a link from the front page at ucapps and a solid search hit is about as good as the coverage could possibly be, and the most appropriate place. I'm the first to admit that sometimes it can be hard to find the little bit of info you need, amongst all the info around here - but this is not one of those times. You just didn't search hard enough.

No, the problem is with your midi interface - you just changed the core so that it works with your broken midi interface. Now they're both gimpy ;)

Lenwe, that's the same schematic I've used for my MIDI adapter too. (it's also the most famous, available on the 'net since one decade I think).

But by my side the problem was lying in the master keyboard, unable to communicate to the Core. Link between Core and the adapter was always been OK. Eventually I had to modify the Core so it could also read from the keyboard.

Now I got rid of my DIY interface because of other issues. I'm very happy (even with Linux!) using a Midisport 2x2.

That's based on MMA's schem:

Yeh... ris8 mangled his midi interface to match his mangled keyboard, and had to mangle his core to match the two of them.... Seeing as you don't have a keyboard that forces you to mangle things, you should try and fix the interface (although the real problem may be the joystick port) so you don't have to mangle every core you make.
