Hell, no! :wink: It's just exactly the same that I thougt when I wrote the lines above. I know I can trust me, but other member are maybe affraid a litte, to send money to a guy that is new here. If it helps them, I've trade a few things in the last weeks here, maybe on of the "partners" are willing to write a line or two about! :-) Fell free to start a new one, I'll jump in asap! :-D

That's the "problem" I see here as well ("can we trust the new guy!?" a.s.o). Maybe a few want to try it anyway! :-) Otherwise, like said before, please do it someone else and just count me in! I also have about 30 black/red and 30 black/grey ones (some very little used, some new) from a bulk order here on midibox years ago, just in case if someone whant to exchange clear-ones! :-D

I would provide the bulk for germany (and others if they are aggree to pay the additional costs for international s&h) if anyone is interessted. Otherwise just count me in for some transparent -clear and -red ;-)

Nowadays a bite my own ass that I've don't realy listen to the c(++) lecture at university! :mad: But together we're strong I promise, a good team with enthusiasted people and the shit should work! :-)

Everyone who think about doin it or not - DO IT! It's not half as hard as it looks like, if ya know on wich side grap an iron. Almost finished mine yesterday (just pots- and case-wiring left) with the lovely detailed packed parts from Jef, great guy! :-)

Also ich kann euch beiden nur raten auf motor-"fader" zu setzen. Ich hab es bei meinem DAW-controller nicht gemacht und beiß mir bis heute in den Arsch - gut, das Teil gibt es in seiner ursprünglichen Form eh nicht mehr, aber einer der Gründe waren halt die fehlenden motorisierten. Gibt doch nichts schöneres als eine Automation aufgezeichnet zu haben und das Pult fährt diese dann immer entsprechend ab - klar, Funktion vor Design, aber da geht einem als Musiker schon nen Stück weit das Herz auf! ,-) :-D Aktuell mit nem etwas aufgebohrten 80th-analog-Schätzchen am Start, aber falls ich mal einen am schnacken bekomme und dem Ding midi spendiere, dann auf jeden Fall Umrüsten der Schiebepotis auf motorisiert, so teuer sind die als bulk-order auch nicht, s.h z.B aktuellem (bzw. dämlicherweise jetzt beendetem und von mir verpassten) Angebot hier im board. Wir können da aber gern gemeinsam mal paar Modelle raus suchen und gucken in wie weit allgemeines Interesse besteht da nen Karton kommen zu lassen! :-)

I could recommend to buy a desolder-pump for the future. After a few cheap-models i've bought this one finaly years ago, work great until today. All the talk about "but ya maybe going to rip off the solder-tabs" I can strickly disagree, X.000 of propper unsoldered parts are on my side of view! ,-) Keep up the good work and documentation!

@Altitude: Maybe a split of the PCB is possible. When ya look at the one shown at synthage.com, ya'll see that the're not too many traces to reconnect then. @topic: I would like to implement some of the general seq.v4 features as well (like in the seq.v4-lite "effect-board"), will play around / code it if I'm one of the "predestinated", wee'll see... :-)

Auch wenn ich vom Grundsatz ganz bei dir bin (SX3 ftw - hab V5 wieder verkauft, lohnt für mich nicht!), zum ersten rein schnuppern tut es da auch eine der kostenlosen DAWs bzw. VST-hosts. Übliche Verdächtige wären da z.B Ardour oder Reaper. Qualitatives AI ist natürlich Pflicht, sonst hast mit den mistigen, weil absolut nicht auf Audio getrimmten, Treibern des OBC (Latenz usw.) nach ~5min keinen Spaß mehr an der Sache! ~100€ solltest da schon ausgeben, Edirol UA-1G, NI Traktor Audio 2, M-Audio (Avid) fast-track-pro, [...] - so was in der Richtung, Hauptsache stabile Asio-/core-audio-Treiber und akzeptable Wandler, muss zum Start ja nicht zwingend Apogee oder RME sein, Müll wie Esi-maya, Öhringer und Co lässt man aber am besten im Laden verschimmeln! ,-) Falls mit Linux unterwegs vorm Kauf bitte auf jeden Fall noch mal melden, da kann ich dir dann noch mal gezielt weiter helfen...
