Brightness depends on voltage given to it. Connect 5Vdc to pin 15 (LED-Anode (+)) and 16 (LED-Kathode (-)) and see what happen! ;-) -> Measure first that it will deliver max 5.1Vdc, otherwise display-kill !!! <- Attitude can be realised with a pot later, but that have the mbseq allready in it.

I've quit trying to do it on VB, the time would required for it I use now to etch a PCB and be sure that every connection is right - but good luck with it! :-)

An meinem ersten DIN damals hab ich auch eine halbe Ewigkeit rum gelötet bis des komplett lief, obwohl da ja echt nichts weltbewegendes drauf ist, wird schon werden! :)

Du sollst nicht die encoder austauschen, sondern mit einem der ganz sicher funktioniert sukzessive die Eingänge am DIN durchprobieren - dort wo es dann klemmt hast entweder Schmuh im Aufbau, oder fehlerhafte firmware. Da die original-FW fehlerfrei laufen sollte, kann es aber imho nur am DIN und/oder den Verkabelungen liegen, an was genau lässt sich schnell mit o.g Test ermitteln! Um das ganze noch zu vereinfachen kannst zum testen der Eingänge auch einen button/switch nutzen, Details, so wie ggf. benötigte Dateien, gibt es im wiki. Machen und danach mit dem Ergebnis wieder melden! ,-)

zu 2.) Schon mal encoder untereinander getauscht!? "Wandert" das Problem, dann Verkabelung vom enc. prüfen - bleibt es, dann den Signalweg vom entsprechenden Eingang. "Ansprechverhalten" der enc. lässt sich im script definieren, mios_tables.inc (und/oder setup_*.asm(?))

Und die daraus relultierende Steuerspannung lässt sich nicht nutzen um damit Eingänge wie am AIN anzufahren!? Ist nur ne Idee für die nicht ganz so bastelwütigen...

Don't ordered yet, so no, it's not to late. Whant to wait till the PCBs I've ordered for the project are arrived. They're dispatched today from UK, so should be here first half next week, than I want to order the 300s. I can check postage to japan for sure and if it's okay for ya send it without any problem - but a question here; isn't it easier to get them direct somewhere on the asian-market? :laugh:

Wenn die PADs nach dem "Piezoprinzip" arbeiten, so kannst diese an ein AIN_module anschließen, dann bleibt auch die Anschlagdynamik erhalten. -> Druck löst Steuerspannung in je nach Druck variabler Höhe zwischen min - max aus, diese lässt sich interpretieren und z.B als velocity-Signal nutzen. Andere Bauprinzipien, sowie der Weg via AINSERT, laufen wahrscheinlich auch, da hab ich mich aber bisher nicht mit beschäftigt um das definitiv bestätigen zu können.

Deiner Intention folgend hab ich es falsch verstanden, schon okay! ,-) *gg Dem folgend wären deine Ausführungen natürlich absolut korrekt. Was natürlich ginge, wäre, die Einheit direkt hinter den Tastern zu trennen, um diese dann als d_IN bzww. a_IN zu verkabeln, das wäre wiederum kein Problem.

Wieso sollte des nicht gehen, ob ich zwei getrennte USB-Geräte extern über HUB mit dem Rechner verbinde, oder den Hub zusammen mit den Geräten in ein Gehäuse integriere ist doch Jacke wie Hose! Technisch absolut identisch, spart halt nur (optisch) das eine Kabel. Evn. liegts ja daran das ich nicht weiß, was NXP bedeutet(!?)

Core on VB can be pain in the ass, buy some PCBs from mike, best way for first-time-bilders in my opinion. The big advance to build it with dedicated PCBs is, apart from easier soldering, that ya can use the modules for different layouts / projects, just make the ins/outs with either pinstrips or sockets. So ya can easy quick-prototype several new ideas to decide if it worth to build it full or not! :-) Edit: Wenn noch fragen sind frag einfach, ich kann auch deutsch! ,-)
