  1. I used the latest microchip software for the Pickit2 .. and it seemed to work at 3 volt .. all LEDs blink once 3-4 seconds after I power up the core
  2. Hi guys, I am building my first seq v4 with the STM32F4 .. all boards from SmashTV. After soldering the core I added 2 Midi IO boards to J11E, uploaded the wilba hwconfig file and all worked perfect. 3-4 seconds after startup all LEDs on the Midi IOs blink one time. Now I added the line driver transmitter and a Quad IIC .. but sudddenly on startup only one or more LEDs of the Midi IO blink with no delay. I detached all elements from the core, only leaving the Midi IOs connected .. same .. short blink directly after power is switched on ..sometimes all, sometimes only one (last in line) sometimes 3 or 4 ... Switched the 2 Midi IO boards so that the second in line becomes first .... same If I connect a midikeyboard to the boards, the proper LED reacts perfectly ... but on Midi IN AND on Midi OUTS. The wilba panel is not yet finished, so I have no chance to check the menue for the midiports or send something. Do I have a short somewhere?? And why did it work multiple times before? Where should I start debugging .. is it the core?? Or maybe the STM32F4 itself?? Heeeeeeeelp
HILFEEEEEE
  4. After some configbattle with the Pickit2 clone (Vdd has to be 3 or 4 volt instead of standard 5) all 4 PICs for the of the Quad IIC are programmed. But I had to notice that at my 2 Midi IOs only 2 LEDs do blink on startup :( although 4 days ago all worked fine. I think it might be my SD card (I took a very old one from my ) or the the slot, so the hexfile is not read completely ... mor debughing soon ..
  5. I got my Pickit 2 today and it does scan the PIC as 16f88. But when I try to write at 5 Volt VDD I only get Errors. It works at 4 volt and 3 volt ... is that o.k.ish too ?? For the Note, .. I never ever used a PIC Programmer befor .. :)
  6. PICs still need the hex code ... now saving up money for the next partorder .. the mighty wilba panel
  7. Just ordered a Wingoneer Pickit 2, hope this works too
  8. Same problrm here now .. Quad IIC done ... PICs from reichelt ... unprogrammed ... Wich little programmer should I buy and where do I find the code??
  9. Anogher little step further to my baby .... had a bit of panic cause the boards didn't work at first, but the only problem was, that I connected J11E to J2 of one board instead of J1 .. had one connection cable cramped wrong ..
  10. On my way .. still some trouble with the MIOS that seems to have found some unsuported functions like LED_LIVE and LED_JAM_LIVE and some more
  11. I always wanted to say this too ... Still some troubles with the MBSEQ_HW.V4 file Some functions are not supported by the MIOS .. at least that is what zhe MIOS Studio tells me. Like LED_move, LED_JAM_LIVE, LED_LIVE and some more, plus the BUTTON too ...
  12. CORE_STM32F4 done .. it does blink, hope it works too
  13. The TLV for the AOUT_NG arrived some weeks ago Today the electronic parts for the first pcbs came ... still have to get the parts for the wilba panel and the AOUT ... hope to find some soldering time in the weekend
  14. Keep in mind that if you use Acryl that has some transparancy, you do not need to cut all LEDs, simply place them under the acryl, zhey will blink through, saves a lot of money ;)
  15. Hi jzurd0, If you find one, let me know, cause I search too. If not, and this is not superurgent, I will build my wilba this year with round buttons like this ... http://www.reichelt.de/Eingabetaster-Digitast-/DT-6-SW/3/index.html?&ACTION=3&LA=2&ARTICLE=7241&GROUPID=3280&artnr=DT+6+SW I will design a Frontpanel in inkscape and share it here ...
  16. Is that group still active?? I searched facebook for midibox but could not find that group ....

    midibox parts

It is the BLM 16x4, but I am not shure if I'm gonna build it .. lots of smd parts
  18. PCB's are all here, LCD too, TLV for AOUT is on it's way .. STM32F4 arrived yesterday, Mios for the Seq V4 IS UP AND RUNNING
  19. Alasdair Moon

    mios up snd running

    From the album: Midibox 2016

Got my STM32F4DISCOVERY yesterday .. fitmware upgrade, installation of the bootloader and upload of the mios for seq v4 went smooth

    From the album: Midibox 2016

Finally all bigger parts here ... soldering can start soon
  21. Finally ... the STM32F4 board arrived yesterday ... mios for seq v4 installed ...

Now the big soldering can start ... step by step
