  1. Z.B. Microchip http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?
  3. Do you have any information, when the PCB's will arrive? In our company we have even for special flexible circuit boards shorter delivery times. And chinese new year is also over. Gerrit
  4. I can find the one change from "Edis", but we can only go back to the "external edit" from 127.0.0.1 on Oct. 20th. Is more history reproducable?
  5. uh,oh Someone increased the order above me. As far as I remember I was above the 250 chips mark. Now I'm just below.... Let's hope, that we reach 500 pieces.
  6. Is it multilayer board? In the layout drawing I can't see any GND connection?
  7. Hello friends, something new with the group-buy? As we have currently 132 boards on the list, that should be enough to go on with the procedure? I'm very keen to get this 5x5 interface running....
  8. USB2 can also be 1.5Mbps. ;) USB2.0 simply adds the 480Mbps mode to the 1.5 and 12 Mbps (and does some minor enhancements). Since the 480Mbps mode works completely different to both others device and host must negotiate about the protocol at a lower datarate and then switch over to 480Mbps. For a good coverage about that topic see http://www.lvr.com/usb.htm Gerrit
  9. Does somebody know a good looking, easy to handle and cheap housing for such a 5x version? I'm looking for some days, but haven't found the perfect solution yet.
  10. As far as I remember every conform USB device must start with a maximum current of 100mA. After initialization the host can allow the device to drain more current - up to 500mA. I had to fight with it when designing an USB connected infrared emitter for remote control. The maximum requested value has to be put into the device descriptor. So work bus-powered 4-fold hubs: 4*100mA for the devices, 100mA for the hub itself = 500 mA from the host. If you put a high-power device in a bus-powerd hub the device will recognized, but shows up the exclamation mark and doesn't work. Basically a 5 port MIDI interface should work without problem as high-power since MIDI is a current loop with just around 10mA.
  11. The Sums in the list seems to be wrong. The world famous calculation program told me that we have 585 chips and 459 PCB's at the moment. (Not counting the "?" PCB's.) Any one with other numbers?
  12. So I hope, that we will reach the 750 mark - or it's enough to skip the "n*250" rule ;)
Falls jemand abspringen will, ich könnte wohl drei Stück gebrauchen.... ;)
  14. Haven't got an information yet. Is it still coming or missed I something? GG
  15. Is this Bulkorder sleeping, or was I too late with my decision?
  16. Hehe, beside on the desk is a small industrial controller, which should learn the MODBUS-protocol and has a 18F452 as brain. I use a serial bootloader for my experiments....... ;) The real advantage of a C4 would be the Display, so you don't need to remember the layout of the controllers for all the settings. But if you can't transfer the data from the DAW-application into the box automatically, it's useless in my opinion.
  17. Hello, finally I decided to build a Midibox. So I desperatly need 8 * RSAON11M9 and 8 * FK13x25 silverchrom. I also would be interested in the standard ALPS encoders, but they aren't on the list :-( For the records: I'm from germany. Gerrit
  18. You are right, the box would be fully useless without support. But the PIC's have Flash-Memory today so you could burn another fimware into it (maybe a Behringer clone uuuuaaaahhhh.....)
  19. But what is that information worth, if you can build a nice box, but it doesn't have any advantage over a Behriger Box, since you can't use the displays seamless. The website of Mackie states "more coming soon" so let's stand up and shout in direction of Mackie and Steinberg (yes, I'm a Cubase user)

Gerrit
  22. Hmmm, since the list of avaliable drivers is currently hardcoded in JSynthlib (core.DeviceAddDialog), the entry is probably missing.... The next version should generate the list from the entries in an config-file, which can generated automagically. The code for that is already in the CVS-archive. I haven't heard anything from Brian as the main maintainer of JSynthlib since some weeks, so I don't know his timetable for the next release. Gerrit
