  1. Hi toniodod, and welcome! as for the led question, mios takes care for everything! as long as cubase is set to transmit the controll! the led will work according to the apropriate button (button 1-8 to leds 1-8 etc) cubase sx 1.2 works fine haven't tried sx 2 yet, but i see no reason y it should not work fine! So, start the PIC Burners!!!!
  2. Hi! Reason has more midi limitations than just the fact that it is one way. There is no point in building 3 malstroms because you just can't use them simultaneously. You can only record the automation on one track at a time! Now, for the blue-red thing, you just save a patch for each song and recall it to recover all your settings. your pots will not be on the correct position but this is where the 'pot mode' comes in with snap and parallax modes.
  3. Hi defred, I downloaded 2 videos from your site. I realy felt like congratulating the makers! The one with the guys on the street is awesome! gr8 mix both audio and video!!! :)
  4. And other musicians will come to your place and say "wow, you made this?" ;D
  5. Very cool dan! innovation! about the merger, I'm sure there's enough space in there to build an extra 16F877 merger and leave it connected!
  6. Well, the truth is that they achived that price because it is MIOS based! ;D (kidding, but could be!)
  7. One little possibly stupid question... what's not good with the original edrum project? You do all this fuss just to integrate into mios the piezo pads? I was considering to build the edrum thing but now I'm into thoughts! Isn't the edrum velocity sensitive?
  8. Where will you get them from? anyway, I'm in for a quad set!
  9. No, it's just a dedicated controll surface for the MB64SEQv2. It's just a suggested layout!
  10. "Poooor Vanessaaaa ..... .. .. ......" (Can't remember right now what Dream Theater song it is from!) /EDIT : peruvian skies
  11. Tide! (the thing you wash clothes with!)
  12. If i understand correctly, you need to assign your buttons on the same CC#. Set them to On Only. Set them to send value 0 the first, 4 the second, 8 the third and so on with the vmidibox. That should do!
  13. Sure superfeed. it's not carlos though, it's uclaros! /EDIT : I'm sending them right now. It'll take a whilefor 3.5MB . I'm on ISDN here...
  14. "Who's the King?? ! ??" (The scene from "American Beauty" where the real estate guy is 'doing' kevin spacey's wife!!)
  15. well, i don't think you would recieve them at yahoo. they have attachment maximum size i think, so I sent them to poeloq for the portal. (they're 3,5MB). hope he uploads them soon. If not, I'll send them to anyone wanting them!

didn't someone post this thingy again some day in the past?! but indeed it looks pretty cool!
  17. Yep! That's right! But if you want led status for your buttons you'll need an dout too. Lcd is not needed but it is good for troubleshooting. If you prefer to use 16 encoders instead of pots, you'll need 2 din and no ain.
  18. Thanks for the answer TK. I haven't gone through the 64e tutorial yet since i haven't built anythingwith encoders. I think i'll jst build a rough midibox1e with the only encoder i have just to test the function! Thorsten, you're the man! uclaros
  19. Hi Pilo and Gles! Any news with the quality of the TI pcm board you(pilo) said you'd test? Or with the new pcb someone mentioned? In fact are there any news on the 10k1 project? I'm about to buy a soldering station to be able to do smd and after that I'm willing to do any kind of testing! c'mon! don't give up!
  20. Hi all! Has anyone used the traktor scratching function with a midibox?? It's a strange thing to controll over midi.. I read somewhere that it recieves a controller change value of 64 for slow reverse,63 for a bit faster, 62 even more etc, 65 for a slow forward, 66 for a bit faster etc etc... If so, a special function should be made to be able to controll an encoder just like a vinyl record or the professional dj cdplayers...
  21. hi defred! nice design! But, (not sure) but I think those buttons you used are going to be changed soon. I think theyre those buttons with a big travelling distance(when you press them you have to press them all-al-all the way through) and there is not a distinct point where the button is pressed (like a "click" or something). Again not sure, but from your rough picture this is what I saw. You'll NEED more accurate buttons like the pcb mounted miniature ones... Nice work on the chassis!
  22. you can also print directly from the .brd file! i also tick the "black" and "solid"options on eagle. If interested I have made some .pdf files that have 4 or 6 pcb tracks on a A4 paper, so you don't waste paper.
  23. 1) Since when does traktor have midi out? I downloaded the latest demo and can't have a midi feedback for midi leds...
