  1. Ok, the link is fixed! You could even use the MB64 for the 16f, with an apropriate configuration made on vmidibox. you wont even need the lcd! But mine is a compact solution...
  2. I have modified TK's floorboard project for use with Line6 POD2. It can be found for anyone interested http://obs.multiplayer.gr/podfloor.zip Note that the code is not optimized since it's my first time with assembly, but it works. The changes are the following: -------------------- Hardware Modification -------------------- o    Each one of buttons 5,6,7 and 8 shown on the schematic are replaced    with a LED and a 220ohm resistor in series that are used as led indicators of currently    selected button. o    Buttons 9 and 0 are optional. -------------------- Software Modification -------------------- o    The 7 segment display now shows a number for the POD bank (1-9) and a letter (abcd)    for the    selected channel making it possile to select from 1A to 9D. o    Button 0 transmits a Program Change #37 to put POD in Tuner mode. o    Button 9 transmits to CC#64 a value of 127 which is the tap-tempo signal. o    PORTB[0..3] are now used as output for the 4 channel leds. o    When the button whose led is ON is pressed, instead of sending a Program Change,    the tap tempo signal is sent.
  3. Hi hermes, you can order the pic18f452 as a free sample at sample.microchip.com It is the best (and cheapest) way to find it in greece! (I'm in greece too!)
  4. I see there are a lot of people waiting for someone to cancel.. Maybe we should start a new thread and make a new order (I don't know if it's possile from the same source, nat?)
  5. i'm interested in helping you (if i can and if u want) since i'm a happy POD2 owner but unhappy for not having a floorboard! I 've modified the source of TK's floorboard for use with the pod (4buttons,+2bank up/down,the 7segment leds show the seleted patch in pod format) and planning to add a button for the tuner and then put it in a compact box.
  6. hi! thinking to use the pedalboard with pod?
  7. Hi Freddy! I don't think that being a newbie is a good reason not to go to MBHP... I think it'll be easier to build the small modules! I also think that very soon after u build a 16 pot one, you'll want more-and-more pots and buttons so I suggest go for a MBPH16 or something!!!
  8. You can get some free samples from this site too: http://www.onsemi.com There are some logic ICs for the MBHP, but you could find something other usefull too!
  9. I'd like to see it! I 've thought of so many things to do with MIOS, a graphic display, many buttons and POD but need to learn assembly first... I'l also need a hell lot of spare time!...
  10. Woa! Another line6-er!! I'm planning to build a midibox line6 floorboard too! I'm using PODv2 for guitar and the florboard is a must! What will u use it for??
  11. **Problems with your site!!! Y don't u use YaBB? it's a great forum! phpBB : Critical Error Could not open terayon template config file DEBUG MODE Line : 326 File : /var/www/free.fr/18/m/i/d/i/midiboxtracks/phpBB2/includes/functions.php
  12. OK Pilo! I'll wait for the full PCB! I'm afraid I can't help in the design since I'm only an electronic hobbyist... I could give u an aid for the site though if you like!
  13. Hi guys! Can someone send me the files for the 4xPCM board? send it please to uclaros-at-yahoo-dot-com Thanks pilo, or dan, or gilles or whoever send it anyway!!!
  14. I suggest that since the new server supports php and mysql the forum should be upgraded to the php/mysql version of YaBB, since it's really faster than the cgi one.. In fact it's the fastest I've used!!
  15. I know it's quite newbee question, but how can I connect an unbalanced output (mono) to the balanced input provided by the ADC??
  16. Your boar is cool gilles! A litle explanation about the connectors would be ok! ps. What is the burr-brown.lbr file u attached and how do I open it?
  17. uclaros

    Witch IC's?

Hey Rowan, Can you share your design of the mic pre,? cause i read the data sheet but since I'm preety noob....
  18. Well, I sure wasn't expecting all this when I first started the topic!!! This place will become Audio DIY Heaven soon!!!
  19. Not to mention the low latency that the KX drivers can achieve!... ::)
  20. Cool! If u order the 5331 from usa just inform me , maybe you could order a few for me too !! Thanks, Uclaros
  21. Hi pilo! The fun with the KX drivers (except te 16 asio inputs) i sthat you can route the signals in anyway ou want on the KX-DSP window! The two main devices there are the prologue and the epilogue. Prologue is all the inputs and epilogue all the outputs! On the epilogue there are the outputs of your soundcard (front, rear, sub etc) and also the "virtual outputs" asio 0 to asio 15 that can be used as inputs on any audio software! So you can just route the CD SPDIF to any asio you want to record! If you read the KS documentation you may understand it better! I found it very helpfull! I asked for a cirrus sample too but had no reply too... If you have any news from cirrus let me know! Thanks, Uclaros
  22. Yes, I think too the forum is a bit slow when loaded... Maybe if the host lets TK use PHP and MySQL he should upgrade the forum to the latest YaBB ver. that is really Lightning-Fast!!! :o
  23. I ordered 3xcs5331 from crystal as free samples but I'm not sure they're going to ship them to me (no reply from them yet..) I'm going to start designing-building the circuit next month since I'm leaving for vacation and an exercise for the university on a nice island called Tilos. I'll be back in about a month... ;D As for the SBlive it's very cheap now since the market is filled with audigy and audigy 2! Have a nice summer and visit a greek island!!! ;D Uclaros
