  1. Ok, you encouraged me way too much. ;) So here are a few more. Just the colored version of the 19" rack unit with some minor changes. This is sort of a desktop unit. It's the size of those standard tool-boxes (the suitcase type). I figure they'll make a pretty good case since they're cheap made of steel, aluminium,... and it's basically impossible to destroy 'em. Same as above, but with some graphical stuff on it. Looks cool, but all the colors substract too much, imho. Well, let me have some feedback, please. Critic is welcome, too :-/
  3. Ok, you asked for it ;D This is the headunit sort of. Apparently to be mounted in a 19 inch rack. Would cost about 90€ to have it lasercut. Sort of the patchbay with support for 8 banksticks and 4 audio ins and outs. I'll post more later on, gotta go to work now :'(
  4. Hi y'all! First of all I got some questions about about cases. Which type of case would you prefer for a SIDBox? A 19" rack uni, a dektop unit or some suit-case type of fold-me-up-unit? :) The other thing is, since I'm usually more the programming and graphic guy, I keep creating new frontpanels for all sorts of cases. If y'all don't mind I'd like to post some - so you could give me a little feedback on what is ergonomic and what just plain sucks ;) Thanks in advance for your replies!
  5. Hi! I live in Germany, so I ordered my PCBs from Mike - but after all the positive feedback I couldn't resist to check out your PCBs - and as far as I can tell from the picture they're great! Thanks for all the effort you put in there! :)
  6. Thanks for the reply. I actually noticed, that the buttons don't line up, too. Gotta fix that. BUT, since I'm not quite sure what kind of case I will put the entire thing in, I've already created some more layouts for various cases. That would be a aluminium suit-case, a 19" rack, a destop unit,... I think I'll basically use the ROLAND layout, though. You know, the one they used for their XP-Series. That layout is just awesome and very easy to read and perfectly ergonomic ;D *oh, I'm drifting off*

    Fuse?

Erm, imho we have 230 and not 220 Volts, right? Just for the calculations... Fuses are cool. 8)
  8. Hi Nat! Am I still in time? If so, order 10 for me, too :) Thanks in advance
  9. I know, I just couldn't come up with anything more suitable =) That's what happens if you copy-paste =) My bad. True, I just wanted something to fill the place. It's going to read something like "µCApps MidiBox Sid" later on =) "Ehre, wem Ehre gebührt" Danke für die Antwort!
  10. Hi everybody! I just finished the first sketch of the frontpanel for my SIDBox. It's basically the StepC idea with some changes that seem more ergonomic to me. But hey, that's just my opinion, what do y'all think about it? It's gonna be a print-out, laminate and stick on type of panel. :) Greets, fossi.bs
